Sounds absolutely lovely to me! I work a pretty regular job .... Outside of that time with my nearly grown kids, cooking, and I'm way too into ultra running (everyone relax I won't be boring you with running stories I'm not that guy)

My 68 yo brother still runs. He used to do triathlons and marathons. He does mostly halfs now. He also trains his younger friends. I didn't get the running gene.

My wife says the salads I make tend to be a bit on the dry side.
It’s definitely something that needs addressing.

My wife asked me to stop singing Oasis songs in public.
I said maybe!

When I told my wife I was looking at flights on the internet, she got very excited!
Which was odd as she’s never shown an interest in darts before.

My wife asked if she could have a little peace and quiet while she cooked dinner…
So I took the battery out of the smoke detector!

I left my last wife because she wouldn’t stop counting.
I wonder what she’s up to now…

My wife told me that I’m “not cut out to be a mime”.
“Was it something I said?” I asked.
“Yes,” she replied.

Sometimes I hide my wife’s inhaler…
The neighbours think I’m a stud when they hear her panting heavily “Give it to me!”

I didn’t understand what my wife meant when she told me I was holding the bag of pasta upside down…
And then the penne dropped.

It's tough. I'm a tall lanky guy and for years tried so hard to gain weight. Now I can look at a Ritz cracker and gain 5 lbs. Finally back down to my pre-Covid weight but still want to drop another 7-10 lbs.

I have a lot to lose. I have lost 75....

Favorite article of clothing? This changes from time to time, depending, but it’s a tie between a pair of Lucchese boots and a waxed cotton coat that has gotten a lot of use this winter!

My contractor that came over two nights ago and gave us an estimate to clean the rubble from under mommas house…well…got a call from his daughter yesterday with the estimate. All good except when he left her house that night, he was rear ended and spent the night in the hospital! . He’s Ok but they wont be able to get to us til next weekend.

Love the MZ today, H! I'm so sorry to hear about your contractor! I hope he doesn't have any complications from his MVC. A crash bad enough to put him in the hospital can result in soft tissue injuries which can take some time to manifest. Just be prepared if he needs to put you off for a bit more.

Sounds like such a productive day! It's warmer than it has been here but still cold here .....dogs will need a walk later and I'm making dinner tonight for the family plus one of my daughters college friends so that'll keep me busy enough.

What kind of dogs? And what did you make for dinner?

We're very critter friendly and food centric here!
