Four out of five wood bins were empty this morning. I have a big sign, and I don’t know why people don’t just buy a cord or a half cord - it’s a bit less expensive, but I guess they don’t have the room.

I drank too much coffee this morning and not enough water and I’m also a bit dehydrated. I felt a little bit lightheaded, so I drank a boatload of water.

Off to split wood and sharpen the chain on my chainsaw. It’s so nice out!!!

Sounds like such a productive day! It's warmer than it has been here but still cold here .....dogs will need a walk later and I'm making dinner tonight for the family plus one of my daughters college friends so that'll keep me busy enough.

It's a special car to me. I never thought I'd end up with it. So want to do it up right, I'm waiting until I have the proper budget for it.

Lovely day here too after heavy rain yesterday so went fo a walk with the Management! Not the best exposure but gives a feel for my day. The river was raging through and with heavy rain forecast for tomorrow it will get worse.

I am still partial to my redwing boots. They are guaranteed except for typical wear and tear. I find them to be a superior quality.

IDK about that. I do remember my parents having something they called a "Hi-Fi."

It stands for High Fidelity. It indicated the system could replay a more realistic sound then some of the earlier audio gear. Then came stereo!

I've found a coffee that I like and it's hard for me to limit myself to one cup a day. Not that I have a dietary need to do so, it's just that I don't want to appear to be the pig that I am.

Screw it! I'm getting another cup of Salted Caramel.

I am going to take a WAG that you have a wood splitter.

For the first year, we literally did everything by hand and sledgehammer and wedges. I have a farm hand who’s built like a professional football player, and he enjoyed doing it all by hand.

But it was too labor-intensive and too inefficient, so I broke down and bought a good 40 ton wood splitter. The county line brand from tractor supply is excellent.

Well, I been unsupervised for most of the morning while Mrs. Mitt did the taxes. Hence the second cup of coffee.

I dusted the living room from top to bottom. Not just the furniture but the walls, baseboards, paneling and crown molding too. I won't tackle another room today though. It made my allergies shift into overdrive.

Chicken pot pie tonight. Pie crust are thawing and the chicken was boiled yesterday. I made chicken enchiladas with half of it. Still a bunch left too.

Ok ok mine is a specific under armor hoodie I have. It's very warm and fits just perfect.

The reasons why you like your favorite article of clothing is what other people think about you. So if you like something cuz it's warm other people feel like you're a warm person if you like it because it's protective that means you're a protector if you like it because it's hard wearing then you are a hard wearing person if you like it cuz it's soft that you're a soft person Etc.

The river here is up, also. There were flash flood warnings last week. Everything here is saturated. I heard from a friend who lives in the eastern part of the state that her septic tank is not working right because her yard is a swamp. Imagine that.
