To the extent it literally enrages you into wanting to destroy it instead of learn from it.
I never said it did. What I said was it's reacting, and the market is an indicator of peoples confidence. With the market trending down, that is a signal that people are not happy with the economic direction of Trump's fiscal policy. Mainly tariffs, but there are many other factors.
Myself I have been slowly divesting shares from the American markets. I am not alone. The advice I have received and followed is to move to the European/Asian markets due to more potential growth and stability.
I am not alone, but if there is a rush to exit, then all markets will react negatively.
It is only that the market is a purely reactive thing. It has no intellect or imagination. It is fundamentally impossible for the market to have a vision of a better order of society -- not even a more libertarian, market-oriented order. It is possible for the public to have a vision of something better, and that is where revolutions come from -- but I see no sign of that in the present unfocused discontent with the Trump Admin.

The shock and awe onslaught launched by Trump has caused many to sit on their hands in disbelief. That period is now ending. Point in case in Georgia. Soon all the disruptions to Musk's unilateral firings of the public service will come home to roost. Ah imagine when those SS cheques are late.
Your IRS refund is delayed by months, you can't get into the VA, Yellowstone park is closed. It's a long list bobo, and there is noway for Trump to escape the public outrage that is coming.
