A vastly superior group of aliens visit earth. I guess that goes without saying it, right? Anyway, they mean us no harm, and just want to resupply their ships with primarily sea water, from which they're able to extract needed trace elements. During their visit, they can change their shape into humanoid life forms to better fit in with earth's inhabitants.

During their lengthy visit, they are able to observe humans having sex, and are puzzled by this activity, since they no longer need to copulate to produce offspring. Being in human life forms, they decided to try this 'strange' activity, and just enjoy it immensely in their new form. They become obsessed with fornication, and decide to stay on earth for a much longer period. Since they're able to make themselves humanoids, they naturally assume very handsome or attractive appearances, both as men and women earthlings. Most earthlings are unaware at first, but eventually the news slips out about the new stud or beauty that's bedding everyone.

As usual, earth's men, who are mostly inferior to their alien-counterparts are getting even less sex than before their arrival, This doesn't sit well with men, and they want to kick the aliens out of their bedrooms and remove them from earth. Where does it go from here? Assuming an all-out war isn't conceivable under the differences in technology.

I like both ideas. I'd combine them with a couple of female agents who manage to get aboard the spaceship to have a look around. They find our visitors have a class based society. With a higher class ruling a lower. The lower are kept on the ship and not allowed to shape change to copulate with humans.

Our two lovely agents find a disgruntled lower class scientist to help them, but they do have to convince him.

For the same reason, that when a woman is running through the forest, while being chased by horrible creatures/men/whatever, they always stop and look back instead of high-tailing it out of there. If everyone's too nice, there isn't much of a story. There always has to be some kind of conflict or big problem.

I searched 'alien' because I have an idea similar to this, but focuses on one alien operative who inserts herself into the life of a virile young man.

She takes the form of his fantasy ideal woman, seduces him, and they engage in as much variety, kink, and variation as possible so she can record, analyze, and report back on her findings. There are many of these operatives throughout the world, but through their powers, wyles, and agreement they are able to keep the effort secret. In our male MCs case, he is aware of the intent and origin of his new lover but agrees to go along for the ride and cooperate. (I have the back story to this pretty well fleshed out.)

Obviously this lends itself to many sexual adventures, but I think it opens up some room for nuance, emotional challenges, and a good bit of humor also.

I have toyed with the alien being able to shape shift, to make herself more desirable to certain people, or to take advantage of certain situations. I like how this would open up even more possibilities that she would want to know about. Gender fluidity for example.

A group of anti-alien men start to research.
They collect a group of highly intelligent people, scientists, computer programmers, but also Lawyer's and doctor's.

Everything is studied about the Aliens, they even manage to abduct one.

Lawyers find out, that human rights actually don't extent to the Aliens at this point, the law isn't build to account for intelligent creatures besides humans, so the abduction technically isn't even illegal.

The doctor's find a glaring weakness in the Alien's biology. Maybe a virus or even a food that makes them lose all strength in their body for X amount of time.

The computer experts manage not only to recreate the shapeshift tech, but also find a backdoor to hack it.

Finally the group has everything they need to fight of the Aliens that are taking their place.

They could hack the shapeshifting tools, turning the Aliens into gorgeous women. Make them powerless and turn them into cock slaves. Of course not everything will go as smoothly as planned.
Planning behind the scenes is one thing, but will their conscience start acting up once the Aliens are powerless in front of them? Inner turmoil within the group?

Maybe one of the members falls in love with an Alien who is now turned into a woman?
