I remember one in particular. It was on the night when I played cards with my buddies from work. We knew the storm was coming but we played anyway. We all made it home but one guy had to walk from the road to his house.

There were a couple big ones in the late 70s.

Then a crazy snowy winter and mid 90s. Maybe a few of them. The most brutal winterer I can ever remember. Ice storms, blizzards, cats and dogs getting along… mass hysteria! Real end of the world stuff! (Sorry I turned into bill murray for a minute)

We got 2 feet of snow, maybe 10 years ago, but it melted pretty quickly.

My me,ory is not that good. I do remember one that my brother could not get out for a week, maybe two. He had plenty of firewood but I do not recall if he had a generator for the well pump. Down here in FL i have used the generator to keep the refridgerators and freezers going. We didn't have power for three days. Be prepared!
 
The landlady called. Facetime, actually. I got to talk to the baby goat and the momma goat and Sophie the leader of the dwarf goats. I had a good chat with Telly the big red poodle. He kept trying to mouth the phone. I'm sure he was waiting for me to shove apple slices through it to him.
