How do you know if you haven’t triiiied? I didn’t think I’d like red velvet due to its unnatural hue, low and behold it’s almost as good as its British counterpart, the chocolate cake
because i dont enjoy cakes and custards much.
I know what it is. Not something U care to order. Id take a bite if someone else ordered or made.
Can I not have preferences of foods?
I dont particularly enjoy cakes, cupcakes, custards, etc...hence why order one that is new to me when I might instead prefer the ice cream dish or whatever?

I think that applies to most foreign cuisine. The style we see from overseas in our own culture is always slightly tailored to to suit the indigenous population. I love curry, but the stuff I can buy in the UK is nothing like that in places like Indian or Bangladesh.

I take my hat off to you as an American for even knowing where the UK is, and for mentioning bake off. Here's a fact for you. We Brits either live in canvas marquees (like in the bake off) or castle's. 😉
The avergae American sucks on geography for sure but I find it also depends on where and how you grew up and the current educational system. Meaning, many of my friends grew up in a more cultured home that valued learning about the world, not just their city/state or even country. They traveled to Italy or Mexico or England if possible, and maybe they could not tell you the capital of Rwanda (its Kigali) but they know its in Africa at any rate. However, less affluent homes, people that didnt finish high school, whatever...geography, world cultures and history etc take a backseat to some more "practical" knowledge. I can change a tire but cant truly fix a car. Many of those types of households have peop;elt hat know everything about farms, cars, plumbing, whatever...I cant do lots of those things. However, American history and education also tends to eliminate things from textbooks because it doesnt present America as the "best country in the world!" type of stuff. So for example, when I was in...7th grade or so, the Vietnam war was I think maybe about three or four sentences in my textbook. Such a joke. The Korean war was maybe 1-2 sentences. But the Civil War, Revolutionary War, and of course, WWII showed the US as kicking ass all over. Which is partly true and lots of times not. And now the banned books here is laughable. My best friend is a techer. ANNE FRANKS DIARY is a banned book. Everything LGBTQ is banned. Most books that show any sort of wars or revolts...like HARRY POTTER books are BANNED. The US wants a nation of complete dumbasses who just think AMUUURRRIIICA!

But yeah, not being able to at least know the GENERAL area of wherer your country is and the countries that surround you and/or are more often in the news (England, Germany, Russia, Japan, China, Korea, Israel, Iran, that sort)...probably is frustrating to me and saddens me.

As long as that?! 😜 👅👅

You had me at "cum from oral sex ..." but if it was ever to happen, I'd be very happy to make you cum in any position and any hole :devilish: The lucky guy was a bit skinny - hope he made up for that in other areas?!

Honest ... that word was mentioned in your first sentence (90% of us on here would be cheating on our wives so maybe that's why it was "missed off") :ROFLMAO:

As the subject is usually referred to as "mathematics" plural, it makes sense to shorten it to "maths" (but then we're all well aware of the propensity of our American cousins to drop random letters from words anyway)

British "candy" - as in chocolate bars - is much better than most IMO. My "British" dentist is Greek and he has at least one Polish colleague 🤯 As for cuisine, can't beat a Sunday roast with all the trimmings - and the British staple of fish and chips should be haddock with skin on (you can eat that bit too) with salt - not too much - and vinegar ... 👍

In other news, the last few pages of this thread has had me chuckling, agreeing and disagreeing, and aroused enough to be uncomfortable sitting at my desk :ROFLMAO:
Brit candy is def superior because Cadbury >>>>>>>>>>>> Hersheys for example.

Thank you for enjoying my pics and my thread!!!!

I guess no, because it is Wiener schnitzel and from Vienna, Austria. Yes, they are speaking kind of German.

@LilKitKat
Have you heard about Macaroni Milanese in Italy?
Schnitzel on top of Macaroni Milanese = Schnitzel Milanese.

As far as I know theses are just fake Italian foods and they are exist in Hungary.
havent had Schnitzel Milanese nor heard of it to be fair.

I need to borrow George Takei's voice for a second.... OHHHH MYYYY!!!!! I absolutely love this. I could say many, many things about it that are probably not appropriate for commenting on an open thread but that I also wouldn't PM to someone without knowing if she wanted THAT level of reaction... because this is just fucking gorgeous. Like, so intense it's inspiring. Of course, it's a focus on my favorite subject matter starring an absolutely alluring woman, so it's not surprising I have such a strong reaction.

Oh My!

edited to add ( :and yes, I am aware that George is gay, but I'm also certain he can recognize beauty in general...)
feel free to dm me whatever you want. no worries, just dont say shit like "you are mine to use and abuse and all yuor holes will be filled with so much of cum that it will ooze out of all your pores"...like ok, thanks, glad you think Im sexy but be real, show respect.
but if you wanted to say "damn sexy, you made me hard and i want to fuck you"...no probs!!!

anyway, I am back...will share some info, respond to messages, post a pic or two, yada yada...gotta also catch up on work ok?

missed you all! hope you didnt jerk off too much over the weekend so you saved it all for meeeeeeeeeeee

I'm glad you are back!! Hope we hear every juicy bit.

Ok...still catching up of course...both here and in work, home, etc.

One thing I did was go to this 3 michelin star restaurant, called SingleThread Farms.
OMG, maybe the best meal I have ever had of course. Service was impeccable. 10 courses. Stuffed to the freakin gills, could barely walk back to the hotel.
Here are a couple pics.

1st course
https://ibb.co/6Sc9KXX
There were about 7 or 8 different mini bites here and even a few more dishes I couldnt put in the frame of the camera! It was a crazy selection of different types of sushi (and a few other goodies), and then three later ones were this sesame duck meatball thing, a potato puree thing, and uhh...something else. Only one of those sushi bites wasnt terrific because it was a notch too fishy for me. I love me some sushi, basically will eat anything but not a fan of octopus per se. This was I think a cod perhaps that wasnt ideal? Cant recall.

This was something like the 4th course maybe?

The dumping in the front and center was...off the hook good. To the top left was some kind of mini custard thing and the right was part of a crab leg.

I can share more if theres an interest, but if not no worries.
Regardless, 10 courses, duck was the main course, there were two dessert courses...and yeah...prob gained 45 pounds that night.

Oh and to give you a hint of the price...the TIP...was $275

Was there any sausage on the menu….

not even if I was paid. Been to England 3 times and the food sucks.
How on Earth did you fail to find good food in 3 visits! That’s quite an achievement.
But it’s certainly true that there’s plenty of crap. Some places don’t seam to know what a vegetable is. But Florida was way worse on my last visit.

The veg is out there somewhere, I’m sure.

I dont mean to keep harping on England because I think there is so much to love about the country itself. I appreciate the arts expecially (music, authors and playwrights, television/film actors and writing), the beer and candy hahaha, the history, the people have all been super friendly (Im not into the royals though sorry), the healthcare system, some of the athletes and sports etc, and many other things. I simply do not enjoy the food and cuisine as a whole.
I have found things to be either very bland, or overly salty...not much depth, and technically I prefer a lot of fish and seafood, or things like pork and pasta and breads and such. Im sure there are LOADS of great restaurants and chefs there, but I just havent had a terrific experience in England in terms of eating.

Looks like a great reason to spend the money and acquire the LBs!

I think your replies are actually amazingly nuanced. Which I like a lot. Because life isn’t “one size fits all.”

As for the food, I’ve no doubt you are simply relating your experience.

Myself, I found Paris very disappointing. But if you venture even slightly away from the tourist hotspots and main roads, there are some real gems. I suspect shop rents are lower so they can take more time and do what they are passionate about.

I agree. Outside of fish and chips and some steakhouses (great steaks) Indian food is about the only thing the Brits have going as far as cuisine.

Ahhh I see where you were going wrong. I agree, England does suck. Try the Celtic nations next time
I have some mixed reviews there. I have not been to Wales. I have been to Dublin, Galway, Cork, Bray, and a few other tiny towns in Ireland. The food was not great, nor was it terrible. Kind of like Englamd, the Iriush arent KNOWN for their cuisine. Corned beef and cabbage and soda bread on St. Patty's. Some great beer. But otherwise, its a fairly meat and potatoes type of place. Nothing wrong with that, just not what I tend to gravitate toward.
As for Scotland, I was not in Glasgow. I did go to Edinburgh and loved the city, same with the Isle of Skye and some other towns. Super friendly people, good beers, lovely scenery and so forth. But also...not known for the food. I tried haggis, not my thing.
I always try some native foods, and/or ones a country might be stereotypically known for when I travel...like escargot in france (wasnt bad actually, but love me some foie gras for example).
Iceland is also a lovely country (I know not Celtic per se). Not great food. Loved the country otherwise. Water was smelly though...sulphuric..volcanic! Also tougher to sleep with it light out so much but...had a blast there.

Well, as a well travelled food tester, I have to respect your opinion! I haven’t been to Ireland, so not sure what I’d make of their cuisine.

Scotland has some fine food, and their beef is second to none (wagyu and salt bae included).

All I need to say about Welsh cuisine is it’s mighty fine… you haven’t lived until you’ve scoffed down a load of faggots (not what most of you think it is)!

Id try it for sure, but for me, offal takes a specific mood generally...Im not against it nor do I seek it out often
