I apologize greatly for living several time zones away, Princes.

I have stirred it a second time, and the crema is lovely, so it won't be too much longer. Like the best things, it takes a bit for coffee to brew. This is a local French roast I am fond of.

I even found matching cups, just for you. I have fresh lavender syrup, sugar, honey, and milk, though I prefer mine unadulterated (neat whiskey, black coffee, and Oxford commas). I do not have this almond creamer that you requested, but I would brave the storm outside if that is your whim. You know I like to be of service...

This reminds me a work fire story that Fiesty might like. In my 20’s we were using a large quantity of flammable adhesive on a large flat roof. After it’s applied you have to wait a couple minutes for it to dry. Still don’t know exactly what happened but I suspect an exhaust fan kicking on caused a spark and the fumes ignited and there was a 50’x 10’ wall of fire 6’-8’ high. I was at the ladder in seconds. But after the initial wall of fire the flames went down we were able to smother it with the membrane. Terrifying though

But that one is a bit more intense that I would have like to witness.

I do enjoy unadulterated coffee as well 🙃 What I add isn't to diminish the coffee, but rather uplift it. If you don't have almondmilk 🤭 I won't make you go get. Usually I do honey if I have no more of my creamer. But that lavender syrup sounds 🤤🤤🤤

I’m so glad we all have this space to come hangout, chat, play, and be our silliest selves! I’ll have to agree with @Chloe_Harper that she, myself and @BrendaBear never could have imagined, that with all of your help, this place would be as amazing as it is!

It wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day if I did t show off some colors for the day! Maybe another hidden color or two 🤪💋

Last summer, Starbucks came out with a Lavender Latte. Someone on Lit was so happy to try it out, but it was not to their liking. (Starbucks sucks. Just sayin'). They used a powdered mix, and it didn't dissolve fully, so it came out gritty and not tasty as they had hoped. They were very disappointed. I do not usually like flavored coffee, but I felt bad, and thought they couldn't actually have any, I made some lavender syrup (1:1 ratio of sugar to water, then steep culinary-grade lavender in it for 15 minutes before straining) and made some espresso for my own lavender latte. Using real lavender pulls out some floral notes that are just lovely.

Salty's Variations on a Theme thread had an appropriate theme, so I took a picture.

Now that flavor reminds me of them, and makes me smile still.
