Yeah, they can be pretty coloured fires! I have set my lab coat arm on fire, my friend set the bench on fire with ethanol once, and I once saw the immediate aftermath of a student directly lighting a gas tap and blowing up a bench. Never seen everyone run so fast!

This reminds me a work fire story that Fiesty might like. In my 20’s we were using a large quantity of flammable adhesive on a large flat roof. After it’s applied you have to wait a couple minutes for it to dry. Still don’t know exactly what happened but I suspect an exhaust fan kicking on caused a spark and the fumes ignited and there was a 50’x 10’ wall of fire 6’-8’ high. I was at the ladder in seconds. But after the initial wall of fire the flames went down we were able to smother it with the membrane. Terrifying though

Go to Margarita recipe? I’m usually 3 parts tequila, 2 parts lime juice, 1 part simple syrup and a teaspoon or less orange liqueur and yes to the salted rim. I’m always curious about tequila types too. I usually use Espolon reposado. I think margaritas are pretty forgiving on liquor quality though.
I'm a 1:1:1 kind who skips the sugar syrup as I like it tart and salty. I get the good stuff for the family gatherings, the cheap stuff for the let's get smashed gatherings.
