I don't think anyone needs to defend their choices in entertainment! Enjoy the hell out of it.Again... I could defend certain aspects of the books and movies as well. I think there's some harsh responses, although most are deserved.

I was able to read or watch the movies for the pure entertainment they were. But I had the knowledge that its portrayal into BDSM was nothing like what anyone in a dynamic should experience. The only downside, IMO is the portrayal of the D/s lifestyle to anyone new or interested in trying to dip their toes in.
