The Deplorable crowd on the PB has been continuously cheering sweeping, big government initiatives by the MAGAt administration - ones which will be intrusive into the lives of millions of Americans. And they're doing so without analysis or critique of said government.

Firespin was a rarity, a principled conservative who presented his case without resorting to Republican sound bites and talking points. You might say he was the mirror image of BoBo. I admired him for his epic takedowns of Republican shibboleths "Let's return to the GOLD STANDARD!" and also "The FAIR TAX will save us all!"

Colonel Hogan WAS a principled conservative for most of his Lit existence. Then he retired, began watching Fox News and other random extremist cable channels and his brain turned to mush. He morphed into a vitriol machine.

Sometimes that happens around here, I keep thinking of that one woman, can't recall her name, who made bright 'n perky 'n lively threads, everyone liked her, she was one of the "popular girlz" and then one day just snapped and went on an n-word rampage. Everyone (including me, sadly) assumed her Lit account had been hacked and reported this to management......but her account was NOT hacked, she'd just had enough of the n-words in her personal life.
