Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense

Since when are government appointees expected to have actual skills?

Lol
Historically, political appointees have at least some experience managing large organizations. Not always, but a good amount of the time. We've never had an inexperienced dilletante like Pete Hegseth managing something as large as the Department of Defense.

I doubt he will last one year. He's in way over his head, and is too vain to admit it.

This is profoundly unfunny. Someone just committed disrespect to a superior officer.

Which is UCMJ.

This isn't 'fire someone' this is 'court martial someone.'

If this sort of thing is going on, then the US military is in a far worse state than everyone thought and a really through purge is needed. With court martials, dishonrable discharges and time served.

It IS very disrespectful, but I find it very amusing.
I can't say I blame any active duty soldiers for feeling that way, they saw how Trump desecrated Arlington cemetery for a campaign ad, and when a soldier died during his first term Orange Hitler shrugged of the death and snarked "He knew the risk".

Respect the rank, not the man, yeah that is what we're taught.
But respect goes both ways, and Orange Hitler, who once called a military cemetery a "graveyard full of losers", isn't doing a very good job of respecting the military.

Tzang-san, you claimed to be a military wife, right? What happens when "To The Colors" plays each day on base when the American flag is lowered at sundown? All personnel rise and face the flag, right?

Remember when Orange Hitler and Sean Hannity were perplexed when "suddenly music began playing during their open air Q-and-A in front of an outdoor military audience? And they wouldn't look at the stage?" How disrespectful those troops were! It's almost as if a "stupid flag" is more important than The President Of The United States Of America.

I would have thought that someone of your age wouldn't still be so amused by trolling after so many years.
His childhood consumption of lead paint chips as a lunchtime snack continues to pay benefits, years after lead paint was outlawed.

*nods*

This has actually reached the point where Mike Lindell can signal his white nationalism just by pricing a pillow at $14.88. 14 stands for the "fourteen words," 88 means "Heil Hitler."
They are not even attempting to hide their fascination with Nazism any longer.

I guess they figured it was "open season" since the last firewall of anti-Semitism, The Anti-Defamation League, rolled over and asked for a belly rub after excusing Musk's inauguration day "Heil Hitler" as youthful exuberance.

The horse and buggy rides to the schoolhouse were also strenuous in the cold Canadian winters.

You need to work on hiding your delusional senility, old timer.

Read Article 88 of the UCMJ and then comeback and apologize for your ignorance.
You're quite the authority on the UCMJ. Quite unusual for someone who never served in the military. 🧐

Hell, even our board legal know-it-all Derpy admits he's not qualified to render an opinion on military law. When pressed, he admitted the entirety of his knowledge of military law came from watching the old TV show MASH every week.

Debunked BS

BS, show the sources for the above.

The difference between you and me is I have common sense enough to know when something sounds like bullshit to simply look it up. I have a fair amount of knowledge of federal law, criminal, contractual, regulatory, and various levels of its jurisprudence. As I have said in the past. As a civilian contractor, I have worked on government contracts, military, and otherwise. That however doesn't make me who you think I am in your flights of fantasy.

Shhh. ISIS is still looking for him. 🤣

Hegseth names a base after a Confederate while pretending he didn’t. What a pathetic weasel.

Hegseth said the base will now be named after a World War Two veteran, Pte Roland L Bragg, rather than its original namesake, Gen Braxton Bragg, a Confederate soldier who lost a number of battles in the American Civil War.

The racists know and are overjoyed to be supported by the Clown Show administration, again.

Now we have a REAL Secretary of Defense. Not some fat old desk jockey

Pete Hegseth just finished PT with our best fighters.

Lloyd Austin could barely walk up a flight of stairs without losing his breath

Mark Milley is 100 pounds overweight

Warrior culture is back.

Alpha men are now running our military.

The difference between a military led by warriors and one run by bureaucrats could not be clearer. Pete Hegseth training alongside America’s finest is a stark contrast to the weak, out-of-shape, diversity-first leadership of overweight and incompetent toads Lloyd Austin and Mark Milley. Under Biden, the Pentagon prioritized woke ideology over combat readiness, turning the military into a social experiment instead of an elite fighting force. That era is over.

Warrior culture is back, and with it, real leadership. The men and women who defend a nation should be trained, disciplined, and led by those who understand strength—not by political appointees more focused on climate initiatives and pronoun policies than military superiority. A military run by weak leaders breeds weakness. A military led by warriors creates dominance.

The return of strong, capable leadership is exactly why the deep state and establishment elites are panicking. They spent years gutting the military from the inside, turning it into a tool for social engineering instead of national defense. Now, the tide is turning, and the real fighters are back in charge.

America’s enemies don’t care about woke talking points. They respect strength, and that’s exactly what they’re going to get.
