I hate the "Retired Life"
So boring when there's nothing to do...

I've added things to my daily schedule. Signed up with a trainer and gym. That's a daily workout and a weekly trainer appt. I'm working up to multiple hours.... Knee right now does me in. Friends I can slip out of the house with. Got to keep moving. I spend allot of effort avoiding the news cycle... That requires effort lol

Had about 8 inches of fresh snow by dinner time. Cleaned out the driveway, then had to run into town for snowblower fuel...



Really hoping I don't have to clean the driveway in the morning also. Blowing snow twice a day gets old fast...

Home improvement project.
Today is Caulking Day
The entire bedroom is closed off - window cracked open (supposed to be -10F overnight)... and plastic taped to the outside of the bedroom door. More to keep the chemicals from the rest of the condo than for heat. That's just gravy.

I started laundry before the half. Had the game on my headset. At one point stopped and thought, "what is this?" then remembered it was the halftime show w/ a musical act I had never heard of before that day.

I grew up in a home where father did as much house work as mom. I assumed that was the way to do things until I went to college. There I learned I was a minority. All my wives and girl friends however showed me their appreciation

My dad was the same. My husband actually did more housework than I did. I was always amazed as he was the youngest with two older sisters.

Hypothetically speaking, of course!

He taught himself coding in his teenage years despite his ADHD leading to him being labelled as "special needs". The school's idea of looking after children with "special needs" was to lock him in a classroom with his laptop. One day, understandably frustrated with the teachers, he hacked into the school system and docked their pay.
He's now a mature, married man, writing code for some major international companies, and using his ADHD as a massive super power to earn some extremely lucrative contracts.
The last piece of hacking I'm aware of was when he and his wife were in a nice country hotel lounge and wanted to listen to the TV news, which had been muted. He hacked into the hotel management system, turned up the volume for 20 minutes while they drank their coffee, then turned it back down again when they left!
