Getting plants ready early is a thing! Even winter gardening. We grow lettuce year-round.

Once we even grew a pot plant! Man do they smell!!

I am gonna grow some lettuce and some strawberries and maybe some squash

One thing I don’t like to mess with is anything electric. Yeah I can swap out light fixtures, change, and on off switch, but I don’t fuck with electricity.

My neighbor is line man for the power company. He laughs at me!

I spent a little time in Capidichino, NAS Naples! We staged out of there for Operation Joint Guardian (Kosovo) but stayed in Pinatumara (sp?) the old Navy recreation area. The 29 story high rise was being turned over to the Italians but we stayed there and drove into Capidichino everyday.

NURSE, NURSE! My granddaughter came down with C-Diff…she’s OK but my mother called me and said she caught it? Is this possible? I’m taking her to the doc today. My wife (who’s not a doctor but pretends to be one) says she doesn’t have it, it has to be something else. Anyhow. I put my trust in our resident nurses. . Thanks in advance for any gouge!

Sticking to the theme…it got into the mid 70s here yesterday, and will return today. The Key West MZ has brought on the thaw!

Yes is possible. Cdiff is pretty contagious.

She should have her own toilet if she can till she is better and get some bleach wipes or spray to clean...

HAND WASHING IS CRUCIAL

She shouldn't cook for people and if doing laundry and can use bleach...do.... washing doesn't kill c diff spores.....

Hand sanitizer doesn't kill c diff either...it is WASHING YOUR HANDS

After she rides in your car...wash it down with bleach wipes.... not bleach free clorox wipes..... real bleach wipes (if you can)

I might eat two salads a year though, if they're piled high with taco meat and cheese.

I make a mean steak salad...

Romaine lettuce
shaved red onion
A steak
Roasted potatoes or butternut squash or ???
Honey mustard dressing
You can add whatever other veggies you want...tomatoes a little spinach some cucumber etc

Sometimes, to write a lengthy post, I'll do it in my Signal or Telegram app, then copy/paste to Lit....

Like you, I've had several get "wiped out."

The other method I use, is do it on Lit, then when it doesn't post, I copy it, refresh the page, paste it and post it...
