Pam Bondi won't promise not to weaponize the DOJ

No, you didn't. I did a search on "cheney" -- no such thing is in any of your posts -- a whole lot of lies and a whole lot of stupidity, but nothing, not even a lie, about Cheney suborning perjury.

The Trump Administration May Prosecute Liz Cheney Based on the House Administration Oversight Subcommittee’s J6 Report

December 24, 2024 Rachel Alexander

"Issued by committee chair Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA-11),the 128-page report found regarding Cheney, “This secret communication with a witness is improper and likely violates 18 U.S.C. 1512. Such action is outside the due functioning. The Federal Bureau of Investigation must also investigate Representative Cheney for violating 18 U.S.C. 1622, which prohibits any person from procuring another person to commit perjury.”

Cheney, whose name is mentioned over a hundred times in the report, was accused of coercing Hutchinson into changing her testimony. The report said Hutchinson’s first two interviews, which lasted for hours, revealed nothing of significance. But after she spoke with Cheney, “Hutchinson drastically switched her narrative and began testifying to a variety of unsubstantiated and uncorroborated claims that ultimately appeared in the Select Committee’s final report.”

The committee observed skeptically, “Through thousands of hours of interviews, and the interrogation of hundreds of witnesses, it is noteworthy that the Select Committee chose to focus the conclusions of its nearly one-thousand-page report largely on the uncorroborated and inconsistent testimony of one witness — Cassidy Hutchinson.”

One of the incidents cited after Hutchinson’s change of heart was her statement that White House Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato told her Trump lunged toward the driver of his car after his request to go to the Capitol was denied. “This story has never been corroborated and was directly refuted by both United States Secret Service (“USSS”) agents in the vehicle with President Trump that day, and Ornato himself,” the report said."

You don't believe any more than I do that Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony was false.

There was no perjury.

Lynne Cheney and Cassidy Hutchinson are not the same person. Yes, I am aware that both have breasts.

In any event, for reasons I detailed on Wednesday, Cassidy Hutchinson has been deemed "untouchable" for prosecution

The Subcommittee has reviewed relevant documents revealing that both bar complaints filed against Passantino in Washington D.C. and Georgia were “dismissed” without imposing any penalties against Passantio. Instead of Cheney facing scrutiny for unethically communicating with Hutchinson behind the back of her legal representation, Cheney used the weight of the Select Committee to pressure the D.C. Bar to investigate her star witness’s scapegoat. This was all to make Hutchinson seem credible while destroying the credibility of any dissenting voice, and that meant attacking the career of anyone who stood in the way of the Select Committee’s narrative.

Background:
During the Select Committee’s sensationalized prime-time hearings, Hutchinson was their surprise, "star witness". Hutchinson testified under oath that she heard that Trump had lunged at the steering wheel of the presidential SUV and engaged in a physical altercation with his lead Secret Service agent after being told they were not going to the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Our Subcommittee's "Initial Findings Report" released in March shows that other White House employees did not corroborate Hutchinson’s dramatic account, and instead directly refuted it. The Select Committee was in possession of these accounts but chose to hide them, and instead promoted Hutchinson’s scandalous narrative.”

If Cheney is found to have coerced Hutchinson to testify under oath and that testimony was found to be knowingly false that could be where a charge of subornation of perjury and unethical behavior on Cheney’s part. I understand Cheney and Hutchinson are different people, bonehead, I believe it takes at least to people for subornation of perjury. A whole lot of things change when Bondi and Patel take office. Congress doesn’t control the DOJ.

No historian is ever going to judge Trump a better president than Biden. They won't even judge him better than W! The only controversy will be whether to rank him above or below Buchanan.
So far, in his second term, he's on a trajectory for "below."

Good! What she did say she would do is bring back faith in the justice system. If Jack, Merrick or Lizzy haven’t done anything wrong…they’ve nothing to worry about. Ol’ Pudd’n Head has floated pardons for them heading out the door…that doesn’t sound like they’re innocent…now does it?

It’s duly noted after four years of lawfare and the total weaponization of the justice system, you Radicalized democrats are all of sudden worried about what might be coming. Possibly getting just what you’ve done to the opposition. 🤔
How did this work out?
