Motivation sounds good. Someone one to kick my ass figuratively when I decide to do half the workout or eat those potato chips when I'm suppose to be fasting....like now....when you just messaged me...

Ok, ok. I'm putting the bag down. Sheesh.
Haha, looks like the struggle is real! But hey, at least you put the bag down—that’s a win. If you ever need some extra motivation, I’m always here to help you—and maybe you could motivate me too!

So I posted this in another thread and people acted like I had a third eye in the middle of my forehead (damn youngsters). Let’s see who gets it here…

Would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?

HA! I know you didn't write this for my benefit (poor K), but I wish I would have read this about 20 minutes ago. I had just finished telling my wife that it was ok if she wanted to take the kids and leave. Things look they are fixing to deteriorate here rapidly.

Home healthcare person told me she wasn't sure she could keep working here with all the accusations against her from my mother. Mom was up late last night telling me she had found a pile of papers showing how the HHC nurse was cashing checks. Its some new crime every week. I guess in her heart or mind she can't live without the drama.

Wife looked at me this morning and asked what was going to happen when Mom starts to accuse my wife, especially after the HHC nurse is gone.

I would rather them just leave and make a life than have to go through all of this with me.

But keeping in mind that this is just temporary helps a lot.

Thank

Uffda.....

I'm in my seventies and I can almost spit septuagenarian out.

Busy day... just got caught up while debating what to forage for dinner
But first - hugs... many of our denizens need some serious hugs!!

I'm so sorry about your shitty day. But I applaud your most worthy description of it! 😂😂
Yes, most excellent description!
We've only gotten about 2 inches. But combined with our hills and bridges, it will make for a dangerous commute tomorrow.
It's not the 2 inches... it's what you do with the 2 inches, right? 🤨
Well up qt 2 qm with a whopper of a stomach ache. Just took some medicine.... I feel like I am gonna die
Oh, no!!
Spoiler: Glad you did take some medicine and are feeling better.
That little nap did some good tho.

I'ma kinda concerned about Auntie Potassium, dearest. Too many poopy days in the last couple of weeks. Please, reach out if any of us can help.
Ditto 🫂 ❤️
I really liked the original. It will always have a special place in my heart. (Mostly bcz of Lt Uhuru and Captain Kirk’s overacting)
The way he talked with the pauses was something else
OMG, no... that's what drove me so nuts I couldn't watch the original.
Everyone else was great, but between the overacting and the... 🤨 fraternizing, let's say? Nope
It warmed up to 80F here yesterday and I'm listening to the frogs 🐸 in the pond...
It's beautiful, but I don't want to leave it and go back to the boat...
I love a good frog song!!
I feel much better this morning.
Yay!! Corner turned... great news
Between work home and family I am having struggles...I sometimes feel.like I will never be happy.... but I will keep on struggling along
I'm so sorry. Times like this, I feel like running away from home. Back in the day when I felt that way, I would get a bit haircut. Now? I'd be scalped
Meanwhile, we have 3 degrees and snow... Why do I live here?
Hahaha... right? Was -1 this morning... heat wave now at 7 above.
Good morning fellow quinquagenerians! ☕
I bet that gets a few points in Scrabble

Thank you all - saves me time responding. :ROFLMAO:
I guess in her heart or mind she can't live without the drama.
😣 How's the redirection going? Any traction there?
Ok, ok. I'm putting the bag down. Sheesh.
It's a challenge. One of the stores near me sells the little brown lunch size bags for cheap. Sometimes I'll buy one of those... because "finishing the bag" is a thing.
Stupid Superbowl has every rental car place locked down.
Wait - wasn't the Super Bowl several weekends ago now? What the heck??

Motivation Buddy Club just dropped 😍

Would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?
Ok, now I just feel stupid.
Dont.... it is only something a meatloaf fan/ listener would know
Again - thank you all... I had to cheat and look it up.
Came up with the same "but I won't do that" line.
But neither the dish nor the dude is my cup of tea, so? 🤷‍♀️

Okay - off to forage some vittles...

I just caught up.

You guys are the best. A second family. Well, maybe a third. 🤪😜

Yesterday I went to my crowns, came off while I was eating lunch. I got a quick appointment with the dentist tonight after work, and the tooth is toast. Irreparable. 🫤

Gonna have to get what’s left of it pulled. It doesn’t hurt. Decision time. Implant or just gets rid of it yanked.
