If Ontario wants to hurt the USA they should just turn off the electricity exports for a day or two. Best to choose a cold day. Looking at the network NY and Minnesota would be the worst affected, though the states in between would also suffer.

There's a lot of interdependencies, but Canada is way more dependent on us than we are on them.

My take is, there's Fentanyl and illegals, but Trump also has a bit of a chip on his shoulder over Trudeau coming down so blatantly on Biden's side in the US elections, and part of this is payback for that.

For Canada to get out of this one, Trudeau is going to have to fold his hand, kowtow, and do the Emperor's bidding, all while wallowing in humiliation.

Otherwise, Canada will have to wait for Pierre to be elected. Which he will, and he'll also push the oil pipelines and tar sands thru, which will also reduce Canada's dependance on the US, altho that will take years, if not decades.
