It’s more like a transfer than a secession. Doddering Donnie has opened the door to transfers of territory from one nation to another, so states like California, Alaska and Hawaii would be foolish not to explore their options.
 
Rumors say Hawaii has a solid offer to become part of French Polynesia. But China, Japan and South Korea are expected to make bids also.

Las Vegas oddsmakers say Canada is the prohibitive favorite as the new home for Alaska. Sensible geography is the overwhelming factor driving Alaska’s interest.

LOL. And then internally, the States disintegrate. Don't confuse San Francisco and LA/San Diego with the rest of California.
