Anybody Know About This Site Using Lit Stories?

When you list stories you need to click on the button "Reed" to read a story.
At least we know that grammar isn't an issue for publishing a story. 😄

Edit: at the bottom of the left menu there's a link "Sex Games" which leads directly to Literotica's Story Game page.

The plot thickens.

The set up reminds me of the Sublime Directory porn site from way the hell back.

The little animal pics are cute at least, give it an odd sort of charm.

I didn't look for my stories there, if there are some, they can have them.

I'll put this out there again for the newer folks here. If you put something up here for free it is going to get lifted and end up everywhere. Is that right? No. Is it reality? Yes. The number one way to not have your work stolen is to never put it here, or any other free story site.

For that reason, I never google myself or poke around to see where my work here may have ended up because it will drive you crazy. Way back in the day, Lit would go after a site like this and get it shut down, or at least the lit stories they found pulled. They haven't done that in years. Whether they don't have the time or don't care, or whatever else, they're not helping and you're on your own.

Ignorance is bliss and I don't care one bit if this site wants to let itself get ripped off, and its buyer beware for any author putting stories up on the net.

Clicking on the forum link leads to a different website, which is the exact copy of the first one except that it's all in Russian. I'd say that explains a lot.

One of the less offensive story cloning sites I've seen come up here. I got one spotify pop-up after dozens of clicks. No other ads that I noticed. Lit is linked on virtually every ( English ) page in a fairly prominent fashion. If they had the courtesy to have author's profiles link to their profiles here on Lit, I'd err on the side of free advertising.

Searches on my pen names didn't turn up anything, but that could be a crappy search engine. LOL

It's a Russian site. The odds of getting anything pulled down are next to zero. Best to chalk it up in the less scummy than it could be column and move on.

I wasn't even looking for stories of mine. There's a thread here about somebody looking for another site to post a high school story on, so they can make the characters under 18. I was trying to find all the sites I'm on, because I couldn't remember the one I was gonna suggest. The minute I went to reply, it ran away and hid in my brain, where I couldn't find it.

Yeah, I was searching for other reasons, but saw that, and was like; "hnh", then I saw the Lit banners and went; "hmmm, should I know about this possible Lit affiliate?" There was also two results that seemed to be mirror sites for SexStories. If I recall... I think my story had higher ratings there, than here. Funny thing is now that I think about it; with all the Lit ads stuff on that site, the version of my story, they pilfered is from sexstories, not even the lit version, that's packed into two books. I doubled up the chapters on there, because the sites tedious to write on.

It's the Russian underpinnings that made me take pause. The server IP traces to Poland.
The domain looks like it's registered to a Ukrainian.

Site says founded in '98, but the domain was only registered in '17.

Granted, the site could have been hosted under a different, previous domain name.

I see Lit ads scattered around in different places. "Created for you by people who don't get paid anything." ;)

Or you google stuff and absolutely nothing comes up. (pouts). No one is interested in stealing my work?? : P
Google has become utter shit for exact text searches. More than half the time, it won't even find the Lit publication, never mind the far flung corners of the internet.

And this was even before AI.
