Really, really retro. Came across these pics when we were going through some old photos.
They were taken with a film camera, oh, probably around 2001, long before we discovered the delights of a photography hobby. Taken in the river at Gloucester.

As time moved on we progressed to digital and began to experiment with different ideas and locations.
The cameras we owned and used in those days took an excellent pic; they didn't have the megapixels found on cameras today......it was the lens that made the most difference.
Today's (SLR's etc) almost require a science degree to operate. iPhone's take a good photo but it's not the same thing.

I lived in the Upper Hunter and we used to wander out in the hills there. I've seen a few places like this. And often wondered...

It’s fun to see the progression of the art, and the beauty of the subject. So interesting to see where someone started and to see where they’ve come from and what they’ve come to.
As almost an aside, Vanessa, your long hair was beautiful.
V, you are one of those few people that are really blessed and don’t age. Around 24 years between this set and today, and you’re still as gorgeous as you we’re back then.

Hehe .. yes, the scenery is something else down there, I never tired of it. We did tire of the weather, however .. lots of humidity.

And as for the jewellery, that's something I would never have noticed - you have a keen eye. I couldn't remember so asked Richard who tells me the water bottle set was taken a few days later.
