I love all the gifs

I have done a few but a lot of time I get the error file too large.

And I don't know the file size limit nor how to view a gif's file size before trying so I often just give up on posting gifs

I host off site and link. A lot more forgiving. Lit's limits for images top at 1mb.

Maybe there is and I don't know how to grab that info.

Imo those gif sites should let screen for gifs 1m and under say

So for Giphy, click on "Copy Link." On Lit, go to the picture icon, click the link option (two chain links), and paste there. It passes the image link from Giphy.
