Well cleaned out a few drawers

Took some gold jewelry to a local jeweler to get made into something else.

I had a green diamond pendant I bought in Aruba with my ex friend who told me how me being depressed and suicidal wasn't as important as her feelings and I needed to apologize to her and her husband so I could continue being their friend..... I told them to f off

I am having it made into a ring

I have another ring that has 10 small diamonds and either getting 2 straight band diamond rings or a ring and a pair of earrings

I have a bunch of gold that they will buy

They may buy some of the diamonds too... we will see.... or they will give them back....

We will see how much it costs

Are they giving you close to spot price for the gold? Clean scrap isn't 'fresh' gold, but it's still clean scrap.

If you foresee possibly using the diamonds elsewhere, keep them. Markup on a lot of that stuff is 400%, you've got them now.

If you know the rough size and specs, I can check to see what I'd pay for something new, to see if you're getting reasonable offer from them.

They r gonna call me next week.... I sort of looked up gold prices and a range so we will see

:rolleyes: That's why I'm mulling over how the kitchen might look if painted a different color. If done just right it might be one of those "focus wall" kinds of things except with a whole "room"/space in an open plan design.
Beats potentially needing to paint 3/4 of my entire place. So not prepared to do that!

Get the jewelry made into something you like and will use/wear.


Keep the gold for a Rainy Decade unless you will use it to make the new jewelry.


Not being bossy, but gold may have used if the feces collide with the rotating blades.

"Santa" had a few lean years. When I was older, it was overheard that this treasure was found at a garage sale. This was at least 5 years before we even had an 8-track player. "Santa" had no clue what this was or how much I would like it. (I still have it... even though I don't have an 8-track player either).

I honestly don't think my mom had a clue until a few years ago when a nibling went through a KISS phase - that was more about dress-up than music. :LOL: It was then that the whole story about my 8-track came out. Poor mom :ROFLMAO:
