Finally back to winter. Temps about 20°F and headed to 0°F as the week goes on. Time to get the car washed on the way home to get all the spray off it (and I have a free coupon). It won't freeze up because it sleeps in a heated garage.

We have a little taste of Spring today with 40F above. I'm sure it won't last, but a nice break from the colder temps recently.
Thanks for the reminder - last warm weather I got my car washed and the windshield sprayer got out of alignment. This would be a good day to tinker with that after work. It'll work much better if the washer fluid hits the windshield rather than soar over the roof of the car.

Clean doggo. Wife's eating Ramen with green onions and she's set up in the sun room. Oldest doesn't have a fever but is still in bed.

Mom is being taken care of by the care giver today until they leave for the day. I'll go sit with her then. She wanted chicken and rice casserole tonight.

The sun is out and the sun room actually feels real nice. Nice day here. What does it say about me that now I'm waiting for the axe to fall. What axe? I don't know, but it's there. In the background.

Try this stuff Mitt…wife takes it everyday, and basically wards off the evil stuff. I only tend to take it when I start to feel bad, but it knocks it back. We used to get it at our local health food store but the couple that ran it became full time missionaries so we found it on Amazon…go figure. 1000 mg of all the good stuff, Vit C, and Zinc and whatnot. It’s a paste that you’re supposed to mix with water. I just squeeze it on my tongue and chase it with water…it works either way!

I miss a nice sun room. We had one in the house we lived in when I was a child. Loved it!

I'm no expert but had something similar. That whole "waiting for the axe to fall"? Sometimes it can bea learned response. Awareness is the first step at retraining yourself not to put so much emphasis on the axe. Rather, focus on the "good thing(s)" that precede the anticipated axe.

We are in a snow deficit. Lots of "too cold to snow" days and not enough snow days. Today was a rare 40F day but still no snow.

The cold does get to be a bit much. I'm not a fan of driving in a wintry mess, but we definitely need more snow.

Rum guy myself. 2-3 times a week, depending on how early I need to be anywhere, I make a tall Myers and Coke with a splash of Rumple Minze.
