🌶️💃🏻🎸Brat House: Boobs, Bums and Bedlam🌶️💃🏻🎸

I don't connect with Rory as much as Lorelai on a lot, but that was always one of those things where I just thought "omg, someone gets it"

Of course, I was a teen, so I didn't realize just how many people got it because my world was so small. But still. Rory's love of books was always just so beautiful

Ha! I thought I was crazy for connecting this way! The only way I connect to Rory is how I nerd out. I’d be a forever student if I could!
The forever student that Rory could have been was never my thing. I wanted to be good in school, but my way of learning doesn't always translate well in a school environment. Which is a shame because I adore learning, I'm just bad at it. But, I always admired the way Rory talked about books, dropped references so casually into conversation, always had at least one (if not more) book on her wherever she went. I always try, at the very least, to have a book on me.
Right?! I have two on audible I need to listen to. Thanks @crazychemgirl for the Stephen King thread for my newest audible listen! And one physical book to read! Oh..where’s the time?!
Oh, I'm so very picky with my audibles, but thats a good idea for while I'm doing laundry. I usually save them for when I'm driving, but maybe popping one in while I do chores would be good..

Oh, I'm Rory!!! My mother and i are freakishly close, have an Asian friend, and my grandmother and I were the same connection. Plus, I did make out with my socks. Just avoided the catholic school bit. And Princeton would have been my ivy of choice. And had books under my bed.

And I would have chosen Jess a million times over Logan. even though blue eyes are a weakness.

Vellichor. The emotion you get with the scent of an old bookstore. It is one of my emotional touch points, and I evoke it in a scene in one of my stories on Lit. At least one -- it may also be in the 750 word story I posted last, which takes place in Powell's, actually.

For non-Portlanders, Powell's City of Books is the largest used bookstore in the world, three stories (and the Rare Book Room), almost two acres of floorspace, and heaven on earth.

My heart lives at Powell's.

Golly, this is fun! Now both my kittens are in heat. So I have the doggie door closed and just let my doggo out when she wants, but kitties have to stay in.

So the result? I have two bored, very horny bitches wondering around the house wreaking havoc. It's like @Sammysub07 and @Chloe_Harper moved in without all the fun benefits!!

**** runs out of the room, chortling away... ***

That sounds like the best "problem" ever.

Sammy and Chloe, that is. Not the feline fuckery.

I'm curious of your two cats, which is Sammy and which is me 🤭

Oh, but the fun benefits 😈 a girl can dream... I can certainly see it now...
