J6 insurrectionist shot and killed

I condemn violence in all it's forms, but unfortunately, when violence against our government goes unpunished, it opens the door to patriots to commit vigilante actions against the perpetrators. (Or, for self-declared "Patriots" to commit more acts of violence knowing they can do so with impunity.)

Because when the system fails, people will take the law into their own hands, and you basically have anarchy.

So yes I do offer sympathy to the family and I am shocked and scared that it has come to this.

Ok, sure, this guy may have been an asshole, loser criminal throughout his brief life but, c'mon guys show some sympathy, please!
The J6 Choir just lost its best tenor.

And yet another sad instance of one of our members of the blue having to protect themselves from a trump supporting, domestic terrorist.
Thankfully, this Indiana deputy did something the Capitol Police officers gave way too much deference to and used his gun in defending himself.

Assholes have rights....you know speedy trial etc, right to an attorney..and most received exceedingly onerous sentences...oh finally bail rights were abused. Im waitng for Merrick Garland to be shoved into one of those cells and possibly that asshole with the white hair

Here we go. A traffic stop. Roll on the next wave of conspiracy theories.

He'd be alive if trump didn't incite j6 and he'd be alive if trump hadn't pardoned him.

That's some delicious irony.

You're so right!
How could I be so insensitive to what could very well amount to a police officer delivering summary judgment to a potentially innocent citizen.
Tell me, rainsol, do Black Lives Matter to you?

You ask for justice and then in the next sentence say you want Garland and Mike Pence(???) thrown in jail for no reason.
Leave this thread- you have only the ability to make a fool of yourself.

Those are a RW thing more often than not.

Mostly conspiracy theories driven by CNN and MSNBC but we'll see. This was a traffic stop - the reason for the traffic stop of Matthew Huttle, who was shot and killed by an Indiana sheriff's deputy, has not been disclosed by authorities. That it hasn't been discloses is immediately suspicious. They have not released bodycam footage either, which makes this doubly suspicious.

At 4:15 p.m. local time Sunday, 42-year-old Matthew W. Huttle of Hobart, Indiana, was stopped by a Jasper County sheriff’s deputy during a traffic stop near the Pulaski County line. Police say the deputy attempted to arrest Huttle after stopping him, but the civilian resisted. The officer responded by firing his weapon and killing Huttle following a supposed fight. “An altercation took place between the suspect and the officer, which resulted in the officer firing his weapon and fatally wounding the suspect,” the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Going to need that bodycam footage released.

That almost sounds like you are insinuating that during a typical investigation of a traffic stop involving death, Indiana police:
1. They immediately disclose reason for the traffic stop
And
2. Bodycam footage is immediately released
And that either of these is police policy.

I look forward to other cases that have developed differently that you will present as evidence and/or official police policy in such cases that show that this is a deviation.

They need to in this case to put all the conspiracy theories down. Personally I suspect it WAS a routine traffic stop, and at 4am in the morning it was probably for something totally justifiable. But not saying so sparks off all the conspiracy stuff. Probably DUI, which would also explain the resisting arrest - but....who knows?

They just need to be open about this one given the level of interest and obvious concerns.

Releasing preliminary information in the age of the internet doesn't do that.

We'll find out soon enough.

They need to follow process and procedure of traffic stop investigations and possibly add in processes.estabkished for higher public interest. Nothing else.

Hope you're right but as you said, we'll find out soon enough

Waiting for ANtiFa to do something dumb so we can compart body counts.....

We used to have to wait an entire week before having the information we have right now, within 24 hours.

Chill.

Only if it's a het, cis, white male that did it..........

Not getting all the info the same day is a surefire way to know it was a specially protected class.

I heard they peacefully protested at the Capitol on Jan 6, 2021.

Nah, didn't see any faggots in black running around getting their ass kicked by normies.
