Lucky for me...I have a six cup Keurig machine next to my chair

I was never a fan of the Keurig. I had a Tassimo, which I liked because it read a bar code on the disk and brewed differently for different beverages (and had a pressure tank, so it could do an actual espresso), and I liked the convenience, but not enough to buy another one when it finally died. But I don't like how K-Cups brew.

I am a French press fan at home, among other things. I have been told by some that I am particular about my coffee, but I don't see it ...

Yea, not keurig fan either. Keurig is coffee the way instant coffee is coffee... love a French press, love a pour over, and I love my machine

I get it! I am very particular about my Pepsi!

I'm not that picky about my coffee, especially how it's made. I do love high quality Joe, but most convenience store coffee is just fine, and even good instant coffee will do in a pinch. Never got the Keurig fever myself. The concept of having a wide variety to choose from and just making one cup at a time makes sense, but I think they're WAY too expensive for what they are. And Tassimo does seem like a better brand.

French press for coffee and a Mokapot for espresso(ish) (I have a post in my thread on how to make sure the coffee isn't bitter). It is great for Cuban coffee and a nice Lavender latte (I make my own syrups. Surprised?). I also have an Aeropress for espresso shots when I worked in an office.

Oh, and Portland roasts the best coffee. Stumptown is my favorite, but we have a bunch, even one run by the students at the School for the Blind, who use it to fund scholarships.

Okay, maybe I am a little particular...
