Trumphitler whining about Bishop's sermon

He's not a practicing Jew or part of the Jewish community.

Christianity had over two thousand years of Easter traditions. He should celebrate one of those instead of stealing one of ours.

First, and foremost, he is not stealing anything. In these small communities he served, there was no Rabbi, and the few Jewish people appreciated his Seder, instead of driving up to 250 miles to the nearest synagogue.

Seders aren't held in synagogues and they don't require rabbis!

They are held at home around the dinner table, because they replaced the old Passover observance that was held at the temple in Jerusalem. The Romans destroyed the temple over two thousand years ago, and the old rituals can't be performed anymore, so we do the Seder at home instead. Whatever your cousin was doing, it wasn't a real Passover Seder. It was an insulting mockery.

I'm now trying to imagine what these fake Christian Seders involved: Did people recline on cushions in the pews? Did everyone get their own glass of salt water to dip the bitter herbs in? Did everyone get their own cup of wine to sip between prayers? Who asked the four questions?

Did I upset you so much you had to run and tattle on me for being a big meanie???
I figured I have had so many people today threatening to report my posts because i don't like Jan 6 traitors that when someone actually breaks forum rules I should get in on the reporting.

Since you seem to know so much about the ceremony I've been doing for almost all my 78 years, I'm going to say he followed the playbook to a tee. The folks who were there did everything a family does, and the youngest male read the fier kashas.

If you’ve been attending Seders for 78 years you should know they don’t require a rabbi or a temple.

Christians shouldn't hold Passover Seders. It doesn't "honor" Jews. It makes a mockery of one of the most important Jewish holidays. It's not surprising your cousin wound up supporting Donald Trump.
I agree that it is a falsity but insofar as it reminds Christians that Jesus was born and lived solely as a Jew his entire life it may serve some purpose. "I come to teach the law" (Jewish Law).

He never said I come to teach a new religion which will satisfy the authoritarian requirements of the Roman state and ambitious Catholicism.

He never said, either, that he was going to die in a way that would make it possible for others to get into Heaven.

And Jesus certainly never said "I and the Father are one," or "No man cometh unto the Father but through me.'

Jesus was a good Jew. He would have been horrified by the words Paul and John put in his mouth -- words elevating him to the level of God. He might have believed himself the Messiah -- but in Jewish eschatology, the Messiah is not God in any sense.

Yes, she exercised her 1st Amendment right to make a jackass out of herself on the national stage. Good for her. Its her way of thinking that swept her target right into the White House. My 1st cousin, a Lutheran Minister, and a HUGE Biden/Harris supporter told me last night how embarrassed he was at Budde making her political beliefs more important than anything else going on in this country.
So are you ever going to come back to this part and explain why/how she made a jackass out of herself?
Ever since you tripped over your dick on this, you've failed to offer up the explanation.

When should a Christian minister espouse Christian principles if not at a prayer service?

If the rapist doesn't wish to hear such things he doesn't need to go. Nobody forced him, it's not illegal when you're the President.
Let me get this right. You're saying its "Christian Principles" for boys playing girls sports. For boys in girl's locker rooms and bathrooms. Is that what I'm hearing?
