Isolated BDSM Blurts: Facehugger Fetish

We just talked about this with J yesterday regarding the new Lilla spöket Laban movie. There’s been talk in our circle of friends about if it’s too scary or not. I haven’t seen it and I don’t have kids so I can’t really comment, but the discussion seems insane. Are kids never supposed to feel anything negative, ever, and does everything in kids’ shows always have to resolve to a happy ending for all parties? At the same time, I’m really glad there are now good quality kids shows with good role models etc, too. But do they all have to be like that???

But yeah, the things we watched as kids were something else. My absolute favorite was Nick Knatterton, I couldn’t get enough of it. Maybe all those ladies getting tied up etc has influenced why I like what I like? 😂

(I don’t think it has. I think it’s funny to watch the cartoons now as an adult and be in awe of how much of the racier aspects of the show I’ve managed to miss simply because I was so into detective gadgets. 😁)
I missed thet there is a remake of Lilla Spöket Laban!

No, everything doesn’t have to be that easy to digest.
I remember Laban as quite quirky and grew up with my mother reading Mio min Mio and Bröderna Lejonhjärta (Astrid Lindgren, required reading in Sweden) and then forgetting to read out loud when it got extra exciting, leaving unintended cliff hangers at the most inopportune moments and both of us bawling our eyes out at the sad parts.

The part where Mio reaches up for his friends hand to save himself from falling and instead feels Sir Katos claw, is…memorable.

Oh yeah, Mio is gut wrenching. I should read it again.

I really liked Laban as a kid. He’s called Lapanen here, which means mitten. 🩷

Yeah, much of Lindgren’s writing is, actually-or maybe it’s just the part I prefer.

Mitten makes total sense and is adorable.
Laban is very likeable and I used to read a lot of Laban at the library.

Went to the gym today after a long break. I actually remembered my way around the walking/jogging track. Also, not once was i overtaken by someone pulling an oxygen bottle behind them.

Dammit. I just saw a post in the How To forum that a friend I got to know on that board died recently. Last time we chatted, he seemed to be recovering, or at least keeping the cancer at bay.

Going back to work after 2 weeks of vacation was not a lot of fun.

I survived three days and decided to take Friday off. That’s how well work is going…

I told my boss I’m not planning to come to work tomorrow, her answer was “yeah, I was going to suggest you don’t”. 😅

They were extremely crappy three days and the crappiness was intensified by all my colleagues just chilling and telling how nice it is that things are so calm.

This is still a (generally speaking) quiet week, I just happened to get swiped in a giant mess that I finally got sorted today, after accumulating 8.5 hours overtime during the first three days back to work after vacation.

The Skype ringtone started to drill in my head. Am I going crazy?

I don’t even know if that still is the ringtone or if they’ve changed it. It’s been years since I last heard it. Weird.

It's still the same, lol. I use Skype for work. But that is weird!

I think the last time I heard the sound actually probably was when I talked with you. So yeah, years ago. 😂

I had to think for a long time before I realized what the little tune was that went loopdyloop in my brain. Now I can’t recall the Skype ringtone even if I try.

Brains are so weird.

A colleague of mine had her last day at work yesterday. I can’t even describe the feeling. A mix of terror and a sigh of relief, maybe.

She was an incredibly difficult person to deal with, but at least she did the work. Now it’ll likely be months until we get someone to replace her and the replacement likely won’t be nearly as experienced as she was and it’ll probably land on me to train the new person. Again.

But I think the relief is greater than the terror, which is saying something about what it was like to deal with this person…

I remember a mnemonic, but I don’t remember what it pertains to. It’s a language thing, that much I know, just not sure which language…

Very annoying.

Oh, that sound like a terrible case of brain itch!😬
