What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

I have no idea what that means, but I’m guessing they leave without goodbye 😔
I mean, one was because I didn't vote the same way as him....

i still don't get it... but whatever

this one I just noticed tonight? I haven't talked to him in a really long time - but why not just not message me ever again? Why take the time/effort to actually "leave" the conversation... just seems odd to me

I'd love to know what makes people 'leave' a conversation on Skype...

like, we can see that, you know....
and please don't be sad about this! I'm seriously curious!!!

I'm not sad about it at all - I just don't get why you don't talk to someone for MONTHS and then all of a sudden 'leave' the conversation

I'm also the person with 45 tabs on my chrome browser and 62 unread text messages so take it for what it's worth lol

I can relate to your browser tabs I'm aware that I have a tab problem. 😂

Politics can be a fun argument when you don’t feel the same…same as religion. I’ve had that argument enough to not want it again with most people.

I don’t do Skype but I’m guessing from what you’re saying it’s an obvious dipping out after so long without talking. Weird when you can just continue the not talking.

Right??

I'm not hurt or anything... it's just weird and I'm truly curious as to what goes through a person's head when they click the 'leave' button

@MidwestPrincess23 , you can't leave the popcorn at home. Today is National Popcorn Day. IDK, i just saw it on the news this morning. They had all the deals where to get movie popcorn for s deal.
Funny you mention that! I'm a fan of the 'national day of ______'
and... I LOVE popcorn
now I'm sad I didn't know!! I might just celebrate a day late!

I don't have a lot of folks on Skype but they are all folks I talk to. If things change or we have not talked then I check in. If I am going to leave the conversation then I tell the person and then leave the conversation.

It seems strange to have someone on skype that doesn't talk to me or that I don't talk to. I've had one person leave without saying anything but our friendship ended so it wasn't a real surprise.
Ghosting sucks and it can definitely hurt feelings but often direct communication is unconomfortable for folks. I think being straightforward is best but I know others would rather let things fade away. In those cases keeping them on skype seems unnecessary. Not sure if it helps but that's my experience.

I figured it out. I truly think this is funny. Right or wrong, it's funny and the original song is a classic.

I’ve wondered too. My best guess would be new girlfriend and wanting to hide all conversations with other women.

Either that or they’re just the unsentimental and cleared inactive conversations for a more streamlined daily experience 🤷🏻‍♀️

I didnt think skype was still around. I haven't done that in forever. 10+ yrs. haha

I'd say this last part is a sign of mental illness, but then I'd be self-diagnosing.
