That is a wonderful comparison! Evie is one of my favorite film characters ever (and I watch a lot of movies). Smart, clever, brave, and her whole "I am proud of being what I am" speech in The Mummy is perfect and wonderful and brilliant.

I agree. It was a fun movie, but seemed to have a lot of holes… and the total character change was weird.

I agree. They made her out to have something to prove, which couldn’t be further from the truth! She was quite adept and perfect in the first movie!
