Pending from 5 days, not yet published

I submitted a story. Rejected. I made the requested modifications. Then I submitted and changed title. Reply: "You have succesfully submitted".Story was put in "Pending". After 5 days is still in "Pending". My story is "Rudy loves Helen".

I have had two stories pending for over two weeks already. I'm a new writer, but still wondering how long publishing usually takes? My first story was published in 2 days.

I have similar issues since December. I'm working on my series, already got 10+ chapters published but last month when I submitted two chapters, one of them got published while the other stuck in pending. The timer got reset which means that the mods took a look at it but nothing happened. I later resubmitted it with the next chapter but still nothing for over a week. Now I have three chapters of my series in pending which in the next 1-2 weeks can grow to five.
