Vice-president-elect JD Vance (correctly) noted yesterday that there was no Constitutional requirement for a Vice President elect to be physically present at an inauguration. He announced this on Truth Social.

For once, I can't say I blame him.....the college football national championship is a two hour flight away in Atlanta, Georgia later that evening, and puppetmaster Elon Musk apparently got ahold of some primo seats for Vance to watch his team (the Ohio State Buckeyes) stomp the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest Musk may just offer to stand-in for Vance in DC.

Is vance playing a medium term game and imagining his own inauguration as trumps decline accelerates?

There is also a significantly higher than zero chance of some massive terrorist attack on the inauguration ceremony that would eliminate both President Musk & Vice President Vance (and DonOld) if they are all present, so…

Will Weaker Mike Johnson be attending???

🤔
