If you havent seen Severance, I HIGHLY recommend it. Yes its definitely odd/quirky...but super cool and you just have to go with it...trust me, you'll get into it. And some great actors, cool art direction and styling, just good writing and such...great show. Only been 1 season so you havent missed much if you want to binge it. Apple TV.

Mythic Quest is a comedy...a little darker maybe, but Rob McElhenney is the main recognizable actor, but then theres a ton of others you may have seen from other shows in there too. Its about a video game design company...super funny, but not just low-brow dumb comedy...not a sitcom. And for those that are just hoping for "hot chicks" or "are there video game girls with big boobs and not enough clothes/armor"...sorry, not really no. There are lesbians though...woohoo!
Anyway, its pretty damn good, and theres been a few seasons of it, but theyre short and such so itd be easy to zoom through it too! Apple TV.

Otherwise, other shows I recommend you start if you havent ever watched:

SHOGUN. Two thumbs way up. On HULU.

WELCOME TO WREXHAM. I get it, you dont understand or care about soccer. But maybe you like underdog stories, or like Ryan Reynolds? Its super funny, charming, heartwarming, and yes there is sports in there too. You too will become a Wrexham supporter! On HULU.

I started LOOT and kinda didnt get into it...but...maybe I didnt give it enough of chance? I like Maya Rudolph but the show didnt click. I can give it another go though, never know when you start something if its the wrong timing or sometimes a show isnt great its first season and picks up after (like say PArks and Rec is good in season 1 but only gets better and better)...

BLUE EYE SAMURAI. It was terrific. Funny, cool animation, entertaining, good story, good voice acting etc. On NETFLIX.
SCAVENGERS REIGN. A bit odder in some of it, but super cool, great music, and I loved it. Big thumbs up. NETFLIX.

SHRINKING. Ok I enjoy it, but I find it to be completely unrealistic in all the writing and general dialogue.

When Ryan Reynolds was going for Wrexham I tried to convince him to buy another team in Wales. Suffice to say, he didn’t go for it and probably doesn’t regret it! Agree that it’s a great series and can recommend to all!

Maybe we can get him to buy Juve next and return you lot to your former glory?

Who is excited that Severance is coming back? And Mythic Quest!!!
HOORAY!

If you havent seen Severance, I HIGHLY recommend it. Yes its definitely odd/quirky...but super cool and you just have to go with it...trust me, you'll get into it. And some great actors, cool art direction and styling, just good writing and such...great show. Only been 1 season so you havent missed much if you want to binge it. Apple TV.

Mythic Quest is a comedy...a little darker maybe, but Rob McElhenney is the main recognizable actor, but then theres a ton of others you may have seen from other shows in there too. Its about a video game design company...super funny, but not just low-brow dumb comedy...not a sitcom. And for those that are just hoping for "hot chicks" or "are there video game girls with big boobs and not enough clothes/armor"...sorry, not really no. There are lesbians though...woohoo!
Anyway, its pretty damn good, and theres been a few seasons of it, but theyre short and such so itd be easy to zoom through it too! Apple TV.
