That is a great song, and I am a huge, life long fan of Creedence. But I can’t get that amp effect from those old Fender amps like that… and frankly, they give me a headache. That is a song I would much rather play on my native instrument, which is bass. Sorry.

Those guys were just phenomenal. John Fogerty (in my opinion) is a musical genius of the highest order. The body of work they recorded in a very short period of time is amazing. Stu Cook and Doug Clifford certainly deserve massive respect because they were a huge part of what made that band amazing.

I read a review from the paper the next day and it said something to the effect....
