Anxious to get a story up , expectations ?

Hi i submitted a story on the 3rd and it’s been sitting there , what should i expect in terms of turnaround by the reviewers ?

Be patient. A lot of threads exist about this; it's a manual reviewing process and anything from a day to 3 weeks is normal. It might be longer if you are a new author. Do not resubmit or edit your story; every time you do that the story goes to the end of the queue again.

Anywhere from 3 days to three weeks. It's impossible to predict, but these factors are in the mix:
You're a new writer, so your content will get more scrutiny.
Different categories have different queue speeds.
It's always slower this time of year.
We believe there is only one reviewer, most likely assisted by various word-bots.

Whatever you do, don't resubmit your story thinking you've done something wrong. That just slings you to the end of the queue.
