It's Official. The First Felon President in History.

If Biden was any kind of man at all he'd pardon trump... :D fuck that.

You can start right from the beginning. The grand jury was corrupted. Exculpatory evidence was denied as part of the indictment.

Braggs team should be charged with subornation of perjury.

Constitutional due process violations were everywhere.
Please feel free to educate me (not sea lioning), because a google search didn’t turn up mention of corruption, exculpatory evidence being denied, or due process violations.

Now, IMHO, Merchan waited for this time to sentence knowing full well that once Trump is sworn into office all appellate adjudication procedures may not take place because criminal prosecution or appeals may not be recognized by the NY appellate courts when dealing with a president currently in office. This may even extend to federal courts. Maybe HisArpy can expound.
Maybe, but maybe not. If the sentence came earlier appeals may have been suspended anyway while trump is in office.

I hope Trump's first visit to a country is scheduled to a country that denies any felon entry to their country. Trump team can appeal to the SCOTUS that NY is obstructing presidential authority to conduct state business..
What do you imagine would happen in that case?

It’s kind of shocking there were all these violations and the best lawyers money could buy didn’t do anything about them.

Merchan should have never accepted the case. Misdemeanor charge that outran the statutes of limitations? The political corruption throughout the N.Y. judicial system is shocking! The fact that justice was superseded by political activism is a sad state of affairs for NY.

Try listening to Mark Levin or Megyn Kelly podcast, very informative.

Deep State.

Drink!

Convicted felon, son. You should be so proud.
What was the felony again, child? I'm not asking about the 34 supposed business misdemeanors well past their statute of limitations. What was the actual felony? Cite the federal law Trump supposedly broke and how he broke it.

You would think that Trump’s high priced attorneys would have brought that up.

So you can finally call him that without lying…not that that stopped you goobers before. This was really all this was about. But…one thing is certain!

Trump didn't get a second of jail time or a penny worth of fines.

What was the consequences again?
That is a good point. I would expect more severe consequences for 34 felony convictions.

Going through the criminal court system is no joy and the cost of lawyers isn't cheap either. Plus damage to reputation. Some countries don't allow known felons to come in. Curious how that will play out.
