Good morning Dive Dwellers. Getting up to mid 50s today (and only dropping to mid 40s overnight) but quite breezy and wet for most of the day. Stay safe, warm and well.

We had -2F this morning on the way into town. 50's would have me out and about in tennis shoes and a tee shirt!

I don’t think I do intermittent fasting 100% correctly, but I really do like it.

Talking about that with my Dr recently. She's saying that even a 12 hour break between meals can give benefits. If you look at what blood sugar normally does during the day, letting that fall for a 12 hour period is beneficial. That's dinner, a full night sleep (Yeah, 3am club, I know...), and then maybe a late breakfast. Not too hard to do that if night time snacking can be kept under control...

My biggest problem is I don't sleep well without a little something in my stomach. (Although, I have some exacerbating issues that seem to make that worse for me that it should be.) At least trying to limit that to low glycemic foods, just because that's probably better than a big dose of carbs at bed time.

@Missk_2022 I am okay…just with daughter and grandson….just heard my mom is in a rehab unit, getting physio and walked 70m today. Speach has returned so I thank you all for your best wishes and prayers for me and my family.

My wife used to meet me at the door after I came home from work on Friday nights dressed in nothing but my boxers and my favorite NFL shirt. Every time I just knew it was going to be a great weekend.
Well, one Friday I decided to return the favor and met her at the door after she came home from her mother's. She looked me up and down and started screaming at me with a completely shocked look on her face. She screamed, " Mitch, take my underwear off this instant! Your going to stretch it out!". I can't seem to do anything right. She even called me a weirdo. Sheesh.

Had to make some calls today to round up some references. One ex-boss, one vendor/salesman, one subcontractor, and one property manager. That should be an excellent mix.


I think I've settled in on Intestinal Distress.

When they took away sick days and lumped it all together that was the last day I gave a reason..... I won't be there Is my call in.... they push and I say .... I am using a time off day. It is without much notice so I understand that .... the reason is my concern alone. They back right down

She said that she is still sick and is sorry she hasn't responded, But would like everyone to know that she misses them. It was short and to the point but I haven't heard back. I'm sure Lili is in our thoughts and prayers each and every day.

So sorry she's still sick. some bugs take longer than others to evict. Yes, thinking of Lili every day and hoping for forward progress. Inch by inch to make a mile.

The day it hit 10C (50F) in Edinburgh? All the Americans in my study abroad program were in shorts. Some were Sun Bathing. Solidifying in the minds of the locals just how crazy those Americans are
