I suddenly feel like Barney Fife.... "yeah, we don't get much here but I know what you mean."

I have seen snow here, maybe twice, and it didn't last more than an hour or two. But I used to live in the pacific northwest and sometimes had snow there, and when I lived around Lake Tahoe, we got proper snow, often. And I loved it. Ice wasn't too often, it was just snow.

Should have shut up? Well... I didn't!!! So you'll just have to shake your heads and talk about how much I deserve a spanking!!

Okay, I have only been in Texas 3 times in my life, and none of those were for more than a few days. I don't know jack about Texas. I am surprised there is snow there though.

it does snow, but winter storms shut the state down, its not like everywhere else, and texas has the worst power grid in the country because its the only one that isnt federally regulated. 4 years ago ted cruz went to cancum with his family while millions of people were out of power for 4 days in 20 degree weather. i really dont want to do that again, ever, haha.

I absolutely hate politics… but I remember that. The solar grid failed miserably as I recall… maybe it was wind, but I think solar. The irony there just melts my little brain.

Originally I planned to do the van for weekends away but after finding out my landlord at the time hadn't been paying the lease on the building I lived in I decided to say screw you and used 3 months rent converting the back and moved into over Xmas 2023.
