But in this instance her territory the U.S. Virgin Islands has not held a direct, official vote specifically for statehood. So, she either doesn't know her own constituents or she doesn't know the House rules, or the Constitution. Why? Because she is an unhinged left wing activist.

The US Virgin Islands has a tax code that mirrors the US tax code. In simple terms even you can understand, residents of the US Virgin Islands pay taxes exactly the same as residents of the US.

She was no longer recognized by the chair. Merely being a non-voting representative doesn't entitle her to spew her crap after she was no longer recognized. The House Rules also allow for what was done in order for the House to return to order and the day's business.

St John has almost zero crime, St Croix has significant violent crime and on St Thomas it is a serious problem. Almost none of it has been directed against tourists - largely domestic and local gangs. The British Virgin islands are much safer than the US Virgin islands - don't know why.

If you want to be free from Crime in the Caribbean, go to Cuba. Once the Jewel in the crown of the US Mafia, Cuba now has no drugs or gang problems, and the lowest crime rate in Latin America. The US government still stoutly defends the "rights" of the former criminals who once ruled - go figure!
