I can understand the frustration towards the FBI. The FBI is filled with honorable people but the top is way too politicized.

Anyone who has any background in group dynamics, leadership principles, toxic workplace culture, personnel exposed to corrupt leadership from the top, paralyzed in place out of fear due to peer pressure and a very politicized upper management... knows the organization will lose its efficiency and effectiveness, will tend to align its priorities to fit the political elite and upper management class. The FBI cannot be allowed to investigate or discipline senior leadership. IGs are failing. Lower level management is excluded, they should have the latitude to plan, organize and control the people they manage including disciplinary actions. imho

No doubt it's time to clean house. In my opinion the DOJ and the FBI should come under the authority of something other than the executive Branch. I understand the executive branch has a responsibility to uphold our laws but these organizations should report to a neutral council independent of the executive branch and congress should have a means to discipline the directors for not responding to congressional hearings and oversight! There need to be a failsafe switch outside the purview of the president. I don't know what the answer is but the president (executive branch) has way too much power over these organizations.

Need to move the headquarters for both the FBI and DOJ out of the cesspool called DC.

FISA courts need to be revamped imho.

I believe that we need to pay strict attention to DEI hires but also ensure we aren't using DEI as a veiled attempt to discriminate. Not everything is DEI related. I'm a strict advocate for meritocracy.

The military is near and dear to my heart. The culture that is permeating throughout the military is disgusting. Destroying the enemy is the mission. There is no 'I', self interest or entitlements in military training. Leadership should not evaluate soldiers based on anything but skill and proficiency. GO Pete, my kind of soldier./leader.
