Real talk about pierced nipples

Open to comments from men and women. Give me some straight facts and opinions.
Male, 60 yo here. I want to get my nipples pierced. I love to have them clamped, banded, sister and chewed on. I even like heating a light stick tip and pressing it to my nipples. Wax just isn't hot enough to cause the level of pain I like.
So the question for those men and women with pierced nipples. What the rush from getting them pierced as great as I think it would be? Does the healing process give pain rush when something bumps or brushes your nipples? After full healing are your nipples very sensitive with light contact? How about having the barbell/rings pulled?
I'd even like to see some pics to piercing variations. Post here or DM me if you'd rather.

The pain was manageable. Intense but manageable. My body just had some kind of shock reaction.

Maybe I hadn’t eaten beforehand or something.

That being said, Mrs. Stromer really enjoyed rough nipple play and thought having them pierced would enhance her sensations. Wrong. She loved the look, but her left nipple never healed right and was a constant source of pain for her and she found out with the bars going through her nipples, she couldn't deal with any kind of pressure. Good Lord, she is perfect. She has amazing breast and phenomenal nipples. I could get lost in those. I must have never outgrown my nursing phase because I can nurse on a sex breast and nipples forever. I just can't get enough.

I've told you this before, but Mrs. Stromer has perfect breasts!

She decided to take them out several years after catching one in some clothings. After a few weeks with the pain not getting any better, she removed them for good. We had lots of fun showing them off while she had them.

I really like the design with the barbells supporting a horseshoe ring, I’d like similar ones as my left nip doesn’t like a curved ring. Were they custom made?

It's surprisingly more difficult to push the safety pin through that expected. I've used sewing pins and even a sewing machine needle (larger than just a sewing pin).

Safety pins are not as sharp as needles etc for a reason... so they don't easily puncture skin, hence the term of safety pin.. needles used to actually do the piercings are very sharp. My nipples were not very sensitive at all before getting them done but the piercings really woke them up. Now they have much more feeling and I LOVE them played with, sometimes quite roughly including nipple clamps one them.

It was the same thing for Mrs. Stromer, she just couldn't wear curved rings, so we found these at a site called the Chain Gang. It been years since we have been on the site, but just did a quick search and they are still in business.

I've thought about getting an at home kit to pierce mine myself. Given what I've already stuck through mine I'm sure I could handle the pain. Just don't want to deal with the kids' and grand kids' questions

She just used a long thick sewing needle. It was about 4" in length.

She had some type of piercing in for over ten years, but after catching them on clothing one too many times, she decided to take them out for good. While we both loved the look, the pain and irritation eventually became to much for her.
