At first glance, the story seemed distressingly familiar: back in June 2023, a Syrian asylum seeker went on a stabbing spree at a playground in the French city of Annecy, stabbing four toddlers and two adults. There have been numerous incidents in recent years of Muslim migrants in France stabbing people in random attacks, often while screaming “Allahu akbar.”

In this case, however, the attacker shouted “In the name of Jesus Christ” as he did his stabbing and claimed to be a Christian. It seemed as if the left had at last the Christian terrorist that looms so large in its mythmaking but has been so elusive in real life. Recently, however, the whole media construct came crashing down.

A young Frenchman named Henri d’Anselme stopped the attacker’s stabbing spree. Now, d’Anselme has revealed on Legend, a popular French podcast, that a magistrate told him that the perpetrator was not a Christian but a Muslim who had been a member of Bashar al-Assad’s army in Syria and later of the Islamic State. He claimed falsely to be a Christian to gain asylum in Europe.

ITs funny that Conservatives are REALLY bad at connecting the dots. France treats Muslims the way you want us to. Ever notice that we don't get attacked? That when I hear about at terrorist attack I assume its France until proven wrong. You know the same way where if you hear about some guy was caught with a necklace of toes you know its Florida?

Maybe act like a lib. If you meet one just say hi and move on. If they are in your neighbor and you're doing a BBQ its not impossible to have Halal/Kosher food available. Hell I think all Vegan food good to go. I don't think its gonna kill you to have one or two Vegan meals. Just don't be a dick. Why is that so fucking hard?

You don't have to not have pork. You have to offer alternatives and if possible cook it on a separate grill which if you're having a party of more than ten people you aren't getting by with just one grill. Hell I own three and I don't ever use them I just never threw them away when my uncle passed. I would have to clean them but still.

Instead of cleaning them yourself, just you do your own grill and cook whatever you like. Have the alternative grills too, but have them there cold and waiting to be fired up, with a notice saying "You are welcome to use this grill for non-pork / vegan / coeliac etc., as long as you light it, cook the food, and clean the fucker afterwards, baby".

No one will bother their arse using those grills, and everyone will use yours, so you have done what you wanted and you can also claim that you had a diverse alternative for all the die-hards that none of the die-hards was die-hard enough to avail themselves of.
