What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

I’d recommend Freakonomics, Michael Lewis, (economics), Tim Ferris, (in depth interviews of all kinds), PSA, The Moth, (short rl stories, usually inspiring) - if you like any of that kinda thing
Really appreciate the suggestions, I’ll see which ones I can find - I’ve heard of Michael Lewis before so will try and find that first

Do you cheat on hydration like some nurses ? Ie bag a of fluid before or after drinking ?
Nope. Some days I might get 24 ounces of water in and then the rest is cold coffee I drink whenever I get a chance. This week I have not done very good at drinking water. But I have done very well at drinking bourbon and still no hangover.

I hate it that my weather app not only tells me what the temperature is, but what it FEELS like with wind chill. How the fuck would you know, stupid app on my phone?

I wonder if anyone on lit has any podcasts to recommend?
Ooh, ooh, I do! I actually started a thread about people's favorite podcasts, but it died off pretty quickly. I use Podbean, just because it's the first one I tried and it has plenty of stuff for me. But my favorite one these days, other than the football podcasts, is called Weird Darkness. It's all long-form podcasts about the paranormal, cryptids, and true crime mysteries. The guy's voice is very soothing. I listen to it just about every night while I'm falling asleep.

Another good one is called So Supernatural. A couple of gals talking about, well, duh. A bit shorter stories, half an hour or so. Very interesting, but they don't put out as often. No pun intended.

If a television sit-com relies on a laugh track to let the audience know when something was supposed to be funny, how funny is it really?

Me too! I needed some last night and I think my brother might be getting me Driftless Glen for Christmas, which I haven’t tried before.

Isn’t there an unwritten rule while making Christmas cookies you eat the left overs that don’t fit in the container you’re going to put them in? I think Santa gets plenty with all the houses that have children anyways!

Asking for a friend.

In my head "Grrrrr, I don't want to bike, why bike, wanna sit around and..." (While walking to the bike)
