Leftover materials from the border wall were indeed auctioned off, as required by a bill introduced by a Republican lawmaker in April 2023 and enacted that December. The legislation required that the secretary of defense submit a plan "to use, transfer, or donate" all "excess construction materials on southwest border" no later than 75 days after the enactment of the law, and to start executing the plan no later than 100 days after submitting the plan, "until the date on which the Department of Defense is no longer incurring any costs to maintain, store, or protect the covered materials."

“To use, transfer, or donate” gave Biden alternatives other than a fire sale where the American people lose millions of tax payer dollars.

No where in that congressional bill does it state to auction off material. I’m researching the exact wording of the bill. The DOD portion of wall bits could have been used to construct and finish the wall that was bought and payed for, that was the original intent, that was an option for Biden. Biden is a vindictive incompetent fool. Biden could have donated the wall parts to the states which, in my opinion, give the states the option to finish using up the DOD parts.
