It is rare for a young guy to not get hard, but it can happen (stress, etc.). Cumming too quickly is a different story, and more difficult to fix. For older guys, Viagra is a game changer where you get hard as a rock and last as long as you want. Don't ask me how I know...

Well, not getting hard would be annoying because I'd likely feel some level of emasculation. Though cumming to fast is a problem too, especially when edging can be so fun. Both issues definitely cause problems, but even with either of them, I would my best to fix the issue, and would always work to pleasure women to the best of my ability.

TBH I don’t know if embarrassing is the word I’d use. Probably more frustrating than embarrassing. Not getting hard at the right moment or having some dysfunction in that regard is more frustrating.
That being said, in either case, if you and your partner or just you (if you’re giving self pleasure) exercise some patience you can typically still have a good time.
I’m in my mid 50s, still going strong and hope to continue to do so but I’ve had a couple setbacks here and there due to tension, stress, maybe too much to drink, etc.
