Is it okay to encourage your mom to cheat on your dad?

Last time I wrote a simple cheating story, my readers somehow got offended at me for not giving it a justified ending. They basically wanted the son's character to expose his mother in front of his father. According to the readers, the father needs justice, and the son is a coward for not telling the truth. After reading those comments, I was confused. You are searching for a cheating wife/mother/girlfriend in the tag or search bar, and then you are complaining about why they didn’t get justice.

I think asking for justice or moral values in a cheating story is too much. Yes, you can ask for moral values, justification, or justice but only if it’s a part of some larger story or novel.

The fun of a cheating story is all about doing something wrong, knowing there will be consequences. Losing yourself against the lust and the desires is what cheating stories are all about. Why bring morals and justice to it?

Again, I’m not disagreeing or anything; I’m just stating my point.

Some people insist that other people's fiction must abide by their moral code. Other people don't feel this way. I'm in the "other people" camp on this issue, but I recognize that the camp that thinks differently is here to stay and there's nothing I can do about that.

Most LW residents follow an ethics code that aligns more closely with the Taliban's than you might expect from regulars on a sex site. That’s just how it is, and it's not going to change. Stay true to your stories, characters, and creative vision, and don’t let others’ opinions weigh on you.

People often find enjoyment in complaining and getting upset, but that doesn’t stop them from taking pleasure in reading the very things they criticize. This holds true everywhere, even here. ;)

Most people in LW, IMO, aren't searching. They're getting there by looking at the category. In LW, there's a split between the types of stories desired: cheating, hard cuckolding, marital drama (BTB or RAAC), and swinging/sharing. Very few folks who read there want all of them, and some of them only want one. They're also the most vocal comments section on the site.

Put another way, you're making the assumption that everyone is there for what you want, i.e., "hot cheating story," which is an inaccurate assumption. You'll get a following and likes there, because there are some people looking for that, but a sizable minority, probably a plurality, are looking more for a well-told, complete story. There are definitely people angry about the moral content (there always are), but just as many if not more are irritated that there's no real resolution beyond, "so, yeah, I saw my mom cheating on my dad." 1K word stories don't do great most places on the site, but definitely not in LW.

"He lives up Summer Street with his mom and his sister."
"And they as big as him?"
"Who?"
"The mom and the sister."
"Same person."
See, that’s the kind of story I’d have trouble fitting into the Lit’s category system.

Do you put it in I/T because of the incest?
Or do you place it in SciFi because there’s obviously some wacky time travel involved here? ;)

If they're from Arkansas, they're his mom, daughter, and sisters. Cause papa wasn't a rolling stone; he kept it at home; son is just like the guy that fuck his dear old mother/sister.

I just watched the movie Predestination for the first time recently and now I'm having flashbacks

While I never encouraged her, I would have understood. The only reason they stayed married until he died was because she didn't believe in divorce.

No time travel required; I think the implication was that Lurch (the guy they're talking about) was the result of father-daughter incest, and Danny (speaker) was using "sister" in the loose sense that includes a half-sister.

It's your story, meaning its okay for the characters to do whatever you want them to.

The reaction is just more female hating male 'moralists' who can't separate a fictional story centered around erotic fantasy from their pathetic and bitter reality.

Just write what you want and let the simps squeal.

One of the very few stories on here that carry a Red H a W and a green E is a sci-fi slash incest story by Paco Fear.

If the story is good enough it will rise above the norms.
