Smoking sucks...
My mom died at age 58 ( 1977 ) and my dad died at age 63 ( 1978 )
They died one year apart from each other
They were both chain smokers...

My dad died at age 56 from his first heart attack. I'm sure it was smoking related.

Yep, first ore’s practice fell apart towards the end of the pandemic, second one is super booked up and will see me endures ( he’s contracted to see patients from one of my other clinics) and then one seems ok and taking new patients.
I also don’t have any heart problems beyond reactions that put fluid around my heart twice, liver once. So far no long term damage. So I am not the average patient and often considered too complex and complicated.
Im hoping to go into remission again.

Oh, I'm so sorry! Please be careful! Lots of handwashing!

And wiping down all frequently touched surfaces with disinfectant.
Doorknobs, toilet seats/handles, faucets, light switches, tv remotes, etc.

Sorry if I'm being Captain Obvious.
I grew up in a large family. Breaking the cycle sometimes took... a lot of effort.

Neti pots, face masks for heat/cold, vaporizors, fluids, rest... I'm sure if I missed something that @Lilianna23 and @Missk_2022 will fill in the rest. They're so awesome at the medical and self-care stuff!!

Other than this stupid sinus infection I'm fantastic..

Drink LOTS of fluids! Not just water but also soups and teas.

Take a hot shower and massage both above your eyes and just below the cheekbones. This, combined with the steam, will help loosen the junk in your sinuses.

Try gargling with warm salt water if you have a sore throat from post-nasal drip.

REST! Get as much sleep as you can.

If you have a fever, consider being seen by a provider for antibiotics. If you don't have a fever, or just a low grade fever, it's more likely viral. Antibiotics won't do anything to kill viruses.

Neti pots are great for washing out the noses. I gave my friend a face mask with an insert that can be placed in the freezer or the microwave. I told her to use whichever felt good to her. You can also try cold for 20 minutes, hot for 20, then off for 20.

Antihistamines and decongestants can help. They relieve the pressure in your head. Take tylenol, ibuprofen, or aleve for pain.
