"Trump will fix..."
"The administration will fix..."
"The new head of [x department] will fix..."

Weird.
Make sure you remind Deplorables of this - to their faces.

I've already begun, and it's fun to watch the hamster wheels spin inside their heads.

They are not amused so far...though one did respond with, "you got me there." ;)

Hey yo Deranged Rory

Do you realize your mind has now turned into scrambled eggs

We love to you and elk warped

The transition and DOGE teams trust government so much they’re planning to cut government regulations, fire entrenched bureaucrats, cut federal workforce headcount, eliminate entire departments, and extend tax cuts.

let's fire a bunch of people while trying to deport millions of taxpayers and create an even bigger backlog which is part of the reason why we have millions to deport to begin with.

solid efficiency leadership skills.

Only because in their brains "the government" means "Dear Leader" or his personally chosen minion. Any SANE person (that excludes Chloe) who listens to the Idiot for five seconds knows he equates himself with the State and wants to throw up. Magats LOVE it. Die Fuhrer IS the state and he will fix EVERYTHING.

If Trump even wants to do any of that, why didn't he do it in his first term?

He cut taxes, reduced regulations and fired a lot people in his first term. What we’re witnessing now is a determination to leverage the lessons learned in those four years to more fully utilize the constitutional powers of the executive branch to amp up the volume.

🙄

BabyBoobs "forgets":

East Palestine happened because regulations were relaxed on railroads during DonOld’s first administration…and then Covid blindsided us because DonOld skimped on pandemic preparedness and diplomatic / CDC missions in China during his first administration…and then SVB, etc, happened because the Fed had relaxed its oversight under DonOld’s first administration…and then DonOld ballooned the national debt by $8 TRILLION in FOUR YEARS under his first administration and set the stage for inflation…and then DonOld stoked racial animosity which resulted in the Derek Chauvin riots which cost billions under his first administration…and then DonOld’s fucked up foreign policy set the stage for the Afghanistan withdrawal chaos, the Ukraine war, and 10/7, etc…and then…

We could start with new cabinet members... they are one and all the same. Therefore we should only need one to repeatedly say, "Yes, Donald. Yes, sir. Yes, Mr. President, anything else you want, sir?" Doesn't take a few dozen to carry his toilet paper. Fire them and keep the best ass-kisser of the bunch. :nana:

Yes it did. Validated at the ballot box. Check the scoreboard.

🙄

BabyBoobs "forgets";

The “ballot box” didn’t validate DonOld in 2020…and, in 2024, President Biden (and Kamala) took the hit for all the problems DonOld contributed mightily to. (DonOld and the republicans have no one but themselves to pin the blame on now.)

Hope that ^ helps.

This is the most significant and compelling thread topic on the Lit Politics Board since the election took place this year.

Of all possible political movements, the Deplorables (formerly known as the Grand Old Party, or GOP) are the one least likely to fix anything in the American government, because they have consistently claimed that government is inherently evil. Now they will once again prove that they know how to make government as evil as possible.

As it did during the end of the GW Bush administration and the first Trump administration, chaos will take place again. Who knows if we can recover from their next major failure in governing?

The Deplorables have now made the arrogant pledge to fix government and stop all wars, but once again they will only serve to make government more evil and the world more chaotic than ever before.

Subconsciously they know this and are already looking for scapegoats to blame for their next major failure in governing.

They sure are. The language they're already using is a dead giveaway.

If the rapist had handled the economy competently in his first term he wouldn't need to cut $2T from the budget in his second.

His new Department to cut other departments looks like it's expanding its leadership portfolio, MTG is acting as if she's on the team. Luckily it's not part of the government, so as it cuts the government the members don't need to obey the rules themselves. They act as private citizens authorized by a not-yet President to cull anything they feel like.

And those Deplorables (republicans) will never admit that they have REPEATEDLY left the Democrats a flaming dumpster fire of an economy, domestic social unrest, and a fucked up foreign policy environment to ACTUALLY fix / deal with after the Deplorables (republicans) "fixed" things.

👎

Could have been avoided if the (D)umb fucks you support had done their god damn jobs.
