We really need to be paying attention re: the UnitedHealth CEO being gunned down...

I guess I will go on record that nobody should be murdered no matter how deplorable.

Everyone seems to agree that insurance companies are greedy but where are all the non-profit insurance companies then? Someone has to try to reign in the cost of healthcare. Who then?

The non-profit insurance companies? You mean like some kind of universal health insurance??? Madness. Apparently they’re so hated in the US that they’d rather vote in Trump than consider the possibility.

10 years ago, I might have agreed with you. But not killing them results in nothing being done. End of the day, someone is dying… either one super rich ceo who measures lives in equity or hundreds of thousands of ordinary people who suddenly might find their policies a little easier to pay off.

Would I do what he did? No. But I also wouldn’t be Batman and try to fight criminals if I was in Gotham city.

lol, the “operator” weighs in.

Don't need to be an operator to see someone who's clearly not in the know on suppressing handguns.

A gun can’t unexpectedly jam after being checked beforehand?

Over and over and over again?? No...he didn't re-spring the pistol, which is something you have to do when you run subs and a can on something that is usually doesn't. Or it won't cycle right.

Super basic shit he could have avoided with 10 seconds on google and less than 20 bucks on midway or even amazon, would have had that Tupperware blaster running like a sewing machine.

The guy cleared it on the fly, got the job done and successfully exfiltrated. Mission accomplished. That said, looks like they got some screenshots so I hope they get him.

True, as do I. The idea of running around just smoking employees of companies you don't like is fucking insane.

If lefties don't stop promoting it, they're going to have a real nasty mess in their lap.

OMG you're basically alt-reich now.......

Effectively you can't have them, all those regulations you and the Democrats just LOVE SO MUCH, infinity regulations and all the taxes!!!! What could possibly go wrong right?? Yea they make it pretty much impossible for anyone who wasn't already in the HC insurance industry to try and get in.

Big health/pharma is arguably the most powerful cartel in the USA next to the military industrial complex.

Even if you had the money, they would send DEVGRU and CAG both to drag you to fuckin' Guantanamo bay before they ever let you compete with the establishment goons.

Someone has to try to reign in the cost of healthcare. Who then?

Well the federal government has done such a wonderful job of that, we should keep giving them even more power and control over our healthcare. LOL

Universal national healthcare would be cheaper and better than letting private insurance companies handle it.

There's a good case to be made for a mixed system, with State-run and funded healthcare, in parallel with Private insurance. What we all know is the current system is just fucked up

The defense department is littered with fraud. Medicare and Medicaid is littered with fraud and now you want to trust the feds with healthcare. We're 37 trillion in debt? Another bloated federal bureaucracy that should be managed at state level.

I agree, at least for basic care, but then what will Democrats dangle in front of voters come election season??? :D

And there is the rub, you can't put that much money and power in front of people and expect them to act right.

Strange how every other developed country manages national health care at a far lower cost than the US model, which is set up purely for the profit of the shareholders instead of the health of the populace.

You just don’t get it. By putting an additional middleman between my health and providers, we are employing so many other people and helping put food, cocaine, and hookers on their yachts.

I get it, so does everyone who lives in Europe. The US is a corrupt country established for the benefit of billionaires who lie to the poorly educated.
