Story EDIT not approved even after 8 days

Hello everyone,
My story EDIT is still in Pending status even after 8 days of submission. I submitted another story much later which is already published. Can anyone help me understand, please!

Edits take longer and have a lower priority than new stories. Expect to wait longer.

Two -- three weeks can be typical. Edits are low priority for the site.

Two weeks is average, and 3 to 4 isn't unusual. Be patient, my padawan.
