I’m a 39-year-old with a love for numbers, storytelling, and meaningful connections. Life has been quite the adventure—I’m happily divorced and blessed with three incredible kids from that marriage. Technically, they’re my stepchildren, but they’ve been my “real” kids in every way that matters for years now.
Here’s a fun (and slightly unbelievable) fact about me: I’m a grandfather to three amazing little ones! My stepdaughter followed her own path and started a family young, despite my one rule as a parent: Wait until I’m 40 to make me a grandpa! Of course, she didn’t listen (lol), but I wouldn’t change a thing—they’re a wonderful part of my life.
My first love was mathematics—I even dreamed of being a teacher. But life had other plans, and these days, I’m pursuing my second act: a career in accounting. I went back to school in June, and I’m about halfway through my associate’s degree (my previous bachelor’s degree helped me skip a lot of gen eds). I love the challenge and sense of direction it’s giving me.
In my free time, I enjoy diving into a good book, flexing my creative muscles through writing, catching up on TV shows, or keeping my mind sharp by flexing my math muscles (what you mean you don't do differential equations or calculus problems for fun?). I deeply value honesty, creativity, and intelligence, and I strive to embody those qualities in my own life.
